My Labour Story

Sorry it's taken me longer than I expected to get this video up. It's trying to find the time to film and edit between naps, feeds and everything else.
In this video I talk you through all the details of my labour. Despite having grand plans to film the labour from the initial contractions at home to the arrival of our bundle of joy in the hospital, things didn't exactly happen that way. I didn't get much footage because the labour was super fast. Even the midwife was super shocked at how far along I was by the time I got to the hospital.

Did you use your hypnobirthing techniques while you were at home and were you planning to have an unmedicated birth?

Just got to the end of the video, so no hypnobirthing techniques at all ? lol

I did use some of the hypnobirth mantras and breathing techniques at the really early stages of having contractions at home and they did help!! But for me mantras and breathing only got me so far. I had planned a water birth but things accelerated so quickly and it just never happened for me. In the end it was just gas and air.
