Honestly, with Heavy Starfists +10, Cragblade, Flame Grant Me Strength, Golden Vow, high poise, and good stats you could do most of this too. It's a monstrous build as long as you know how to get close to bosses.

This is a wildly impressive run from someone who has made 5 attempts and taken month long breaks to try and beat this game, dude I’m not even CLOSED. Some of us just watch this kind of thing in awe.

This was probably one of my favorite runs. Simply get weapon, bonk everything for 7+ hours, profit.
I never want to down play glitched speedruns, they are super impressive. But glitchless speedruns will always be cooler in my opinion. Just pure gamer skill, and bushy is the master. 😎🔥
glitches require skill plus you still have to play the game even if there are glitches allowed

@@demauni1952 the skill for glitches is very different than the skill for playing the game, tho. Personally, I find glitches like zips far less impressive than someone who actually has to learn game mechanics
@@eXJonSnowTechnically zips are a game mechanic tho, just “unintended” even tho they haven’t been fixed since their first game. The only issue is a lot of zippers I’m fairly sure use scripts that ensure they get them most of the time

i watched the whole stream and i still cant believe you took 8 hours of footage and turned it into 1 hour. Always a pleasure to see a bushy video fresh.
Cut out the torrent time and it’s not that surprising, the world is massive and there is a metric fuck ton of running around to kill every boss. Sure he’s going to fast travel a lot too but honestly it’s more surprising to me that 1/8th of the time was action packed enough to put in a video lol

10:56 I only noticed it when I finally played DS2 but I think it's true of all the games, if your stamina is completely drained, you can't sprint again until it fills all the way up
Correct! That's why in DS speedruns the "strat" is to run until your stamina is aaaaalmost depleted, but not completely, walk, wait for it to fill back up again and then run :)
Ironic that 95% of the run is just going from point A to B.

Im nearing the end of my first playthrough and seeing a load of bosses that caused me agony getting absolutely clapped was like therapy for me
i think it would still be interesting to see a run where you linearily kill every boss at the time they are intended. just a chill run

I actually just started my first randomizer run inspired by you. I’ve only played through the main game twice but I just wanted to try it so bad. I’m 4 hours in. Elden beast in Margits arena, Fortissax in Godricks. I beat both and it’s been an absolute blast

If I recall correctly, it's very common for Soulsborne runs to use in game times because of the prevalence of quit out strata

If you explored every nook and cranny, depending on bosses and other stuff, it could’ve very easily taken over 150 hours. 100 is fairly standard.

the problem isn’t doing damage it’s taking it 😂
regardless, some notable items he used (i assume) were:
golden vow buff
flame grant me strength buff
axe talisman (whatever the charged attack one is)
craigblade ash of war for staggers
don’t use ritual sword unless you think you’ll be at full health a lot
i may have missed some important items but that’s the main damage dealing
this build does hit REALLY hard with full charged heavy attacks but it can be difficult to get those in sometimes. hope this helps man have fun in the dlc

Why didn't he get buff from Godrick's great rune? If it stay on until you die, and he just doesn't - it's a free always on buff, and +5 to all stats would add up in time saved.
1:18:50 So, 163 bosses gave runes for 147lvl and some upgrades
@bushy can you do a “only required graces” run? Required would be like after defeating morgott or beside the giant flame, cause then you couldn’t warp for convenience
