Anybody that was in high school in southeastern Wisconsin during her era all knew that she was Olympic caliber back then. The way she used to gap fields by minutes in big Xc races was mind blowing. I tell you….you just had to be there….

I love this kind of content! If you could somehow get NAU or another top college teams lifting session similar to this, that would be amazing. I feel like there's so much content on the workouts the pros run but never any on the accessory work they do on top of that
Man the accessory work takes as much time as the running sometimes 1 hr for 4 times a week maybe even 2. I run a 4:09 mile and 1:52 800 and 14:02 5k so I’m not up there yet with the best but it is def a lot. Rlly wish I was on the college team though at my school ( would be the 4th fastest on the school) but unfortunately parents do not support me with that so here I am training on my own.

Gym work has been the difference maker for me in my running. Some very heavy lifting and lots of body weight movements. As an older marathon runner, I'm running injury free and stronger/faster than even. Stealing some of your exercises and wishing you the best!!!!!
