Sometimes you feel scared as you would see abandoned houses, appartments and parks. For some others like me, it's a calm and peaceful place where the nature is slowly reclaiming the city.
The people in Libya are so kind and genuine. There is no exaggeration there. Don't believe what the news says about Muslims. We are not monsters or evil like they make us out to be.

Guys I'm Libyan and I went there on holiday last year trust me it's not even that dangerous. The people there aren't bad. There might be some guns in the capital but if you go to farer cities it is so much more peaceful
I worked there in the oilfields from year 2000 for 3 years just after the trade embargo was lifted. Nice people, beaches and weather, plus the most fantastic juicy oranges 🍊 in winter!

Libya is such a beautiful place. I live in the neighboring country of Algeria, and I've got to admit, we hear almost nothing about it other than war comparing to other neighbors such as Tunisia and Morocco. Hopefully the situation gets better as soon as possible

Drew this is super random but I have a slight problem. I am terrified of dogs. Every time I have gone to a country with a lot of stray dogs I have been super scared. Can you tell me about an exotic location with a lack of dogs. Like Vietnam, Thailand and India were so super nice but half the time I was worried about all the dogs on the streets and couldn’t even walk around freely
I used to be scared of dogs too until we got one. I suggest you to just learn to be comfortably around dogs, if your family or friends have dogs, pet them, play with them, etc. You really can't avoid dogs in the world, and you shouldn't cause they are adorable. 😍👍

Hopefully you see this comment but Libya isn’t in a civil war like you mentioned. It ended years ago and you went when it was bad and went to the capital city where it was most unsafe at that time. I was able to visit Libya when I used to work overseas as a seafarer. It was the time when Libya recently had a coup after Gadaffi was overthrown and the flag was changed. I was able to see all the bullet holes in the buildings around the port area of Tripoli (was supposed to go on offshore leave only to find out that the gate at the terminal closes at 6 pm and opens at 5 am the following day). If I remember it right, was just wearing house clothes (maybe a shirt and boxer shorts) when I had the chance to roam around after work (around 6 pm).

why are you trying to say libya is a horrible place, i didnt know he was jewish and fyi libya is a 97 percent muslim country, and we are told to respect other religions and judaism and islam are very similar.
@@aseelbenrahuma8765 hi cool person! first of all no one said Libya is a horrible place but it is somewhat dangerous (for everyone (somewhat thanks to corrupt politicians in my country (USA) and I think when he said it might be dangerous for a Jewish person (which I don't know if that is correct or not in 2022) it's beacuse the fact that there are no Jews left in the country even though there used to be and there were riots against Jews by the 6 day war beacuse of the anti Israelness of Libya (I'm not saying Israel is good or bad I'm saying that beacuse Israel is looked at as a Jewish state some ppl are angry at all Jews beacuse of that especially in some Muslim countries beacuse of the Israel Palestinian conflict ) I've also seen lots of sources claiming that there is antisemitism beacuse of the anti Israelness but I have no clue if that is true these days at least but the fact is there are no Jews left in Libya there definitely used to be anti Jewish sentiment in Libya but that doesn't mean it isn't different these days
