Honestly if you think about it, frieza’s first few transformations are horrifying to look at, and you wonder if he is in pain going through those transformations, especially from the second to the third form.

As a kid, I remember watching this with awesome dread. In his original form, Freiza’s unmatched power was demonstrated countless times. Then to see all these transformations, one after the other, gave a chilling uncertainty as to how powerful he really is.

On top of being able to biologically form armor on his body, he can increase his overall power through physical transformations that get stronger with each form. Frieza’s alien biology and physiology is truly unique in DB.

I always thought Frieza was female when I was a kid, despite the fact he was always referred to as male. These days I reckon he wouldn’t be given a gender. But I’d still think of Frieza as female.
King Cold refers him as son, and they all call Frieza Lord.
Frieza should probably thank Goku for his fight on Namek as it gave him the motivation to achieve a form that was more powerful than his true form ie golden Frieza. Then after perfecting his golden form he would become even more powerful with his newest form ie black Frieza, which he achieved after training in a hyperbolic time chamber for 10 years inside there which bested ultra instinct Goku and ultra ego Vegeta.

@Papo Prime Archon The original sounds like every other anime soundtrack from the '70s and '80s. It's bland and unoriginal. Same old ass trumpets and muffled audio. Faulconer improved on it by several magnitudes. Hell, even Ocean's music sounds better than OG.
DBZ is enjoyable to watch no matter what, but the old soundtrack is dated in the worst way possible.
