    oh man, i've tried walking downstream from the crossing and it got pretty gnarly, wish i knew an easier way to get to the beach there

    Can inform you that this creek is actually green zone and national park. I'm a local and know that coastline very well

    Sweet looking spot mate and good onya for putting up with the wind. This week is hectic wind hey . That stick insect makes a minty smell as a defence against birds trying to eat it. Birds hate the smell and leave it alone.

      You're in an elite area down there mate. Jump on Google maps and look for creeks and rivers that have a sandy mouth that you can access. I've fished a heap of creek and river mouths down that way and they all hold fish!
