Eachine Mini Warbirds Windy Speed Run - BF109 vs F4U vs P-51 vs Spitfire

- Windy day for a speed run and after a few lawn dart crashes managed to get all the birds across the shaking speedo. 1-pack, top two fastest speeds for each of the warbirds, winds were gusting about 10-15mph (weather channel), lined up the runs so the winds were mostly coming from the tail.
AUW with 1s 400mah - BF109 (60g) , F4U (56.9g), P-51 (55.2g), SPITFIRE (58.5g) Кино
These things are so much fun to fly in serious winds! They are also the only planes I dare do so. Besides the props breaking fairly easily, they are basically indestructible!
These planes and HH Ultrix are my windy day fliers while all others sit at home.
Great video - VERY well done! Love the freeze frame on each model!
Thank you! These mini planes are awesome.
@@SilverSurferFPVyes they are 👍
Nice work
The frame shot is right on.
Thanks! Fun planes to fly on windy days!
Cool video thank you I was wondering how fast they were going I love these little guys they are really fun.
Fly them almost anywhere since they are so light and easy to control.
Awesome video!!!!!
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for the visit!
Awesome video I have the spitfire and the BF 109 like them watching enjoying awesome ❤
Thanks! These little warplanes are fun to fly in small fields/parks.
Nice comparisons.
Glad you enjoyed it!
That was freaking awesome that was a treat what an amazing video. It reminded me of the NHL super skills competition for the fastest skater. LMFAO ❤😊
Glad you enjoyed it! There were some crashes in the making of this video but all the planes survived for more speed runs.
Thanks for the test mate. Have the older models had more flights on them? Also no access to a few more examples to test for variability in the same model?
Having lots of fun with these toy planes, not to scale but for the money but they are awesome. P51/F4U are the oldest planes (most crashes) in the group, I also have a ZERO that I modded with Eachine parts. Just having fun comparing the models, I think they all have the same 10mm brushed motor/gear box. I figure the biggest impact to performance is the airframe, prop, AUW and wind speed/direction when I'm flying their 5 min run thru the speedo. The 1s lipos I use for the test are from the same new batch and not from my daily batch. Looking forward to the next Eachine warbird!
Great tests again. So they do get the extra from the wind. 33MPH to 38MPH with a tail wind. Nice job. On my Channel I try to fly them scale speed over The White Cliffs of Dover (Even Slow Motion) Keep up the good work and I wondered if the Corsair would be faster without the tail wheel? I took all mine off for scale. ✈️
Thanks! I was surprised how good these little planes can fly in the wind. Subbed back! Good flying and catch on the Cliffs!
Superb job converting the P-51 to a spit.
@@michaelc3977 Thanks for watching, Eachine made all four, they also made a T-28 too. All fly awesome and make great little backyard flyers.
@@michaelc3977 Thanks, I will upload a short "making of" when I get a moment to find and edit. Cheers for your comment !
@@michaelc3977 Thanks Michael - I will piece together a short video of how I done it. I seem to have some step-by-step photos and video. A lot of interest 2700+ views !
Interesting to see the speed of these minis actually being clocked. Would be nice to see one done in more windless conditions - if you don't mind rising early to catch them - I find a tailwind turns these warbirds into jets. I wonder what speeds they can reach under own power.
Did a few speed run videos with the Eachine warbirds, on a calm day they do @27-30mph.
@@SilverSurferFPV Ah, I just checked out your Battle of Britain one. 35mph on the Spit, not bad at all!
I think the Spit prop is a little bigger then the others
So. Kmph must be close on 50?
Pretty fast for Spitfire. From your personal preferences flying all of minis, which one was giving you best fly experiences overall in all mode?
I like the P-51 the best, wider wings with best slow flight performance and just as fast as the other planes. Red tail makes her easy to spot when flying next to trees too.
Do gotta note, the bf 109 likes to go into flatspins when doing any kind of meneuvre (still worth it)
@@SilverSurferFPVHey, how can I get a beauty like that??? It's amazing congratulations
Amazon, like 100$ I just got the spitfire a week ago and love it... I keep talking to strangers about it..
did they fix the gyro wobble during high speeds for the newer ones?
Still there even with newest Spitfire but flies good for the price.
Are the propellers all with the same mount? I lost/broke all in my a6m and my nephew did the same with his bf109(they had the same mount) and we need to order some more and are wondering if can order any model. Have you tried 4blade ones?
All the extra props I ordered from Amazon had the same compatible friction fit prop saver mounts for these sets of planes. Have not tried the 4-blades yet.
At these small sizes a two bladed prop is the most efficient, You'll get better performance out of that than anything else until you get up to bigger models
hi best slow speed handling and slower tall speed? thanks
IMO I think the Mustang.
@@SilverSurferFPV thank you and happy flying
I can't believe how fast those are!? How are they in terms of control?
A little tail wind helped. Toy grade planes, not really to scale but for the money they fly awesome, in beginner mode the gyro pretty much flies the plane, just keep the throttle up. Good little 1s beginner plane and very forgiving on crashes.
@@SilverSurferFPV no technical problems with the bf 109?
@@SilverSurferFPV Very cool!!
@@Ionisus BF109 has a gyro issue but when I jiggle it right before I throw it flies fine. I jiggle it in this video and you can also see it in my previous BF109 FPV video also. Only plane that has this issue so far.
@@SilverSurferFPV I wonder if the weird behaviour of the Radiolink Byme-D stabilizer for Deltas would show any improvement by such "pre-treatment"? "1nformatica" has shown that it also works well once it is moving. Also the Kopilot Lite Stab, when in "Autolaunch Mode" also twitches the ailerons but stops immediately you start moving forward. (Even if under the motor kick off speed!)
wich one the best
I like the P-51, wider wings has more lift and you can fly slower without stalling.
