I don't believe Wells and I don't think it's classy of him to make comments like this, especially since the guy is dead. Steinbrenner had his issues with the game but classy type players who've left the Yankees organization don't say things like this. Reggie had his share of issues with Steinbrenner, but he never would say this sort of garbage after he left the Yankees. Remember it was Reggie that speaks with his bat, when he answered George for not re-signing him during the 82 season, by drilling a tater off Gator at the stadium. That's the difference in ballplayers. This guy sounds like sour grapes, boo hoo~!
@ Take it easy Dave, the man passed away a few years ago, when you wanted to fight him, he was 78 years old with one foot in the grave. There were guys that played in New York, a year or two, not really caring about the Yankees tradition and the pride of the pinstripes. Those type guys really weren't true Yankees. They were guys like you Dave. You just wanted to cash your check and never really had the true blue Yankee pride. You weren't a real Yankee Dave, just passin' through on your way to some other half-ass team. I wouldn't expect you to know about pride and commitment to a city and taking pride when you wear that uniform. No Dave, I don't expect you to relate to a Champion winning team. Just for you to admit the way you acted toward your boss, would make any decent man quiver in shame, but not you Dave, no class, not to be remembered in the history books at Cooperstown. Poor misunderstood Dave, admitting to whopping a sick, elderly man, close to his death.

@@nightowl5475 you're a full blown idiot.
@ So are you, you just think you’re better than the rest of us. You’re wallowing around in the same mud with everybody else.
