Exactly but on the other pass coverage might be iffy...what ive noticed when playing cpu..is whichever line of defense you use...(d-line, lbs, or secondary) the cpu qb will find that match-up and exploit it
So what I mean by that is..if I user d-line...then my run d and and pass rush aren't as good... if I use linebackers...usually tight ends get good yardage especially in the middle..and I never user dbs...lol those would be one play td's all game...lol just my theory overall but I swear I've noticed this for probably about ehh....last 5 years in madden when playing the cpu
@@dantej317 so basically I do alright with a MLB in a cover 2 or 3 in those hook/curl green zones. You definitely have to sometimes guess if the route is going to break in or out but a lot of the time even if you guess wrong as long as you’re close enough to the WR when they make the break the QB will consider them covered and start trying to scramble away and get whacked
Yeah I have noticed this overtime. I sometimes will user a d-lineman if the qb lines up under center and I know he will pass. Can work well to stuff the run too sometimes.
Only thing I hate bout controlling d-line against cpu...they always get great blocking especially in franchise on all-madden...game is just too scripted to enjoy
Yeah, if im playing cpu and wanting to use dline I normally knock there blocking down a notch or two as otherwise it feels like every lineman is an all-pro lineman regardless of rating
Trying franchise for the first time and I am NOT impressed... Feels like playing online without the other user. Can I use money plays like pa crossers and levels sail to hang 70 on them while running mid blitz every play on D? Sure Is that fun? HELL NO
@@hia5235 exactly, they think pass rush is all about getting the sack, when it’s more about putting pressure on the QB forcing him to get the ball out quickly or forcing him to run, etc.
I think it comes down to what your goal is and what your team is like. I user d line all the time with a stacked group of dbs so I get a ton of interceptions all the time because the cpu is going to throw it early as you suggested but it’s going to be at unideal times. Thus you can jump routes or catch those little floaters. It’s very common for me to get 6 or more picks a game and 6 or more sacks when user the d tackle. Then click on for user picks.
Don't always play with the same D-Lineman. Start on DT or your edge rushers. Work inside, outside or whatever order 2-3 plays with each one at a time. You'll break their line a lot faster. At least it works for me.
Hey Jacob, Can you make a video regarding tips about developing backup players? For example, how do I get my 68 rated second string linemen to an 82 OVR? Or how to know if i can even get a player to that level. I play offline franchise.
I think i it’s better using the DT over the CB because this year favors DB’s the CPU will most of the time run the route for the Wr and be there to make a play so you can just contain the run it’s a win win since madden can never just balance both 16-18 was offensive favorite 19,21and 22 had a better play style on defense but it was this OD 23 was trash but 24 the defensive player can make a play on the ball that’s been thrown 40yards down the field and they can be 10yards in front of the Wr not realistic unless everyone got a 60inch vert and some.
If you are playing all madden you will need to audible or make adjustments pre snap. Basically on all madden the CPU knows your play. If you take away first and second options, the cpu is more likely to throw the ball away
@@DaNewWaveLee Difficulty has no relevance. Rookie, All-Pro, All-Madden, CPU Accuracy at 0 or 100, the CPU is always going to throw 80-90% completion. It's been this way for quite a few years and EA has no intention on fixing CPU AI. They only focus on H2H and think franchise players only care about the user interface and scouting. The only way to circumvent this is to cheese the AI and play unrealistic just as people do in H2H with hot routes and defensive adjustments that break the AI.
@@cillipodWF for me it does the only other variable is the gameplay you pick. So for example if the cpu is passing deep and you select short passing for defense then those attributes effect if your momentum is down.
I user the d line and it's easy. I drop into coverage alot. An if they run just do a loop te lou 😂 an the lineman can't block in the back to clog run lane. Not perfect cause you don't get lots of pass sheds but consist overall d#
Never ever knew that, but one thing I did know that sprint button on that running back even after you pass the line of scrimmage they will get off of every block and tackle your ass EA needs to change that shit, 💯🇺🇸👍
its insane how great the CPU QB plays when you user the DL, even on rookie mode they get the ball out fast and complete like 90%+ of their passes
I’ve definitely noticed this. If I user a LB and take away underneath routes I will get *significantly* more sacks than trying to rush with the DL

Even elite players in the NFL only get like what? 1-3 sacks a game? Its a simulation right.

Same
Facts the key is using rushers that have abilities. Thats the difference really i’m a dline player and i get good pressure all the time
So true

Hey @jacobreid they did another update are you gonna make another all madden slider vid since they made an update to gameplay?
matt10 v14 sliders work for me

Question. Anyone ever figure out how to confuse the offensive cpu qbs? They basically have a 90% accuracy rating playing against me

What if I use a MLB and blitz? Will it do the same thing when I use a pass rush move?
Darn I love my d line and it's so much fun but yes when I play zone I get gashed for completion 25 for 25.... Grrrr wow makes sense

Is there a similar way to get the CPU to do a run play?
How was your success rate usering the D-line against real opponents online????
If you use the right guys then it’s pretty successful. The problem is you then leave yourself a more exposed in coverage
