- This video will go over an overview of divergent universe in Honkai Star Rail, best tips and tricks I know for this game mode, some strategies, and any general advice on clearing the content. There's a lot of RNG though, so it's not that clear cut.

As someone who gets very annoyed about the heavy rng for Divergent Universe, I just want to clear the highest difficulty of Threshold Protocol 6 to get the rewards then never go through with it again. I’m trying to clear Threshold Protocol 5 and uggghhh….it’s a fun game mode but when we can’t block/banned certain paths, it results in a lot of rng for blessings for the equations lol
Yeah for sure, the rng makes it breaks your run. If they add in banned paths and stuff, it'd be wayyyy better for sure.

@@shord775 Oh, let’s not forget about resetting blessings when you select them…though that feature is not that much of a priority considering how cosmic fragments are used in DU. Banning/Blocking certain paths is more of priority to have…sure, it’ll get rid of quite a few equations to see in the selection but when someone does the higher difficulty in DU, one would usually plan their equation selection first by looking in the DU’s library

this mode is basically firefly's playground
DU is basically regular SU but with more rng, dimensions and blessings

I clicked on this video for Dr. Ratio in the thumbnail lol because that's how much of a simp I am for that man - but these are good tips. I currently can't beat Threshold 3 in Ordinary (I beat it in Cyclical but that doesn't allow me to advance Ordinary). I literally made it to the final boss twice but I couldn't clear it even with the retry function, even with Luocha AND Aventurine. I only use Luocha and Aventurine on the same team when the content is mad difficult and even then I STILL COULDN'T 😭I probably had less than stellar builds, but...ugh I tried very hard lol. Currently, I'm trying to just do regular runs until I can fill out the circuit completely, which will hopefully buff me enough to where I can beat Protocol 3. And then hopefully the rest. I don't have Acheron, Jingliu, or Firefly - I try to play with just my favorites and what I have because I'm TRYING to be MOSTLY F2P.
Yeah that sounds tough, and a pain in the arse honestly. In that case I'd mostly just do 1 of 2 things. Get the Rupert series curios (when you get all 3, something magical happens) or clear LVL 5 (no threshold) for the synchronicity points. If you have a FUA team, the Rupert series curios are a god send when you get all three.
@shord775 Dr. Ratio hypercarry or Ratio + Clara + Aventurine + Bronya has been my go to (I'm a Ratio main if you can't tell lol), I'm pulling for Jade when she comes out. I've almost filled out the inspiration circuit. Heard on the Rupert curios, I'll see if I can RNG boss my way into possession of them in my next few runs
@@infinitemidnightghostmourner This game mode is stressful, take your time and at your own pace. Honestly, that ratio, Clara, bronya, aventurine team sounds super fun. This game mode does seem to be quite character-gated towards Acheron and firefly, so again, just take it at your own pace and have fun. If you do get the special Rupert curio, you'll have fun again 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
@shord775 I beat OP3!! And yeah, that team is honestly really good, I do most stuff in the game with it or with hypercarry. I mostly go for Elation and Hunt, and then if I need to I use "Acheron at home" (Xueyi) to do the enemies like Cirrus. I still haven't gotten all the Rupert Curios yet
@shord775 Oh and I'm allergic to most Erudition path. I will restart if it tries to make it my primary path
So that's why my Firefly superbreak team can't get past Threshold protocol 2.
I just couldn't bother reading the effects the curios and blessings do 💀

Ngl, I've only cleared ordinary difficulty 6 recently. Ended being one of the "luckiest" runs per se. I only have 2 equations but I have so many curios that I kinda got carried by it, especially since I got 3 weighted and 38 normal with a total of 35 blessings focusing mainly on break dmg and shield. Of course the team is firefly hypercarry.
Yup, the game mode does seem to be catered to specific characters like Firefly and Acheron. Now you can go back to protocol threshold 0 since the synchronicity points are going to be the same no matter what (finally peace 😭😭😭)
@@shord775 True, it really does seem like the buffs are catered to those two. Especially firefly, considering there are nihility and destruction blessings that either boosts break dmg or break dmg recieved. Though with that standard, dhil may not be bad too, with the correct blessings and team, he may not be bad for this game mode.
@@trinityskaze8609 Facts (everything you said was absolutely facts). But i guess that means later down the line more dps based around break might be released... or can be used with break, since it's a little weird for it to be so heavily break-focused imo.
@@shord775tbf, it's better for them to do it like this. considering the fact that dot team completely ignore the disadvantages of the two types of dps, which is conventional like acheron and seele vs break dmg like firefly. Kafka is such a cheat code for dot teams too. Unless they introduce enemies that would frequently cleanse themselves or immunity to debuffs, dot teams is arguably the strongest actually. Though tbh, I would really like it if they release more debuffers into the game. The meta now for the most part is focused on harmony rather than nihility and the debuffers now are also not too varied either, with the main focus being dots and defence shredders. Considering the many worlds we still have to go through, I hope that there would either be new team mechanics or debuffs added to provide variability.

Im at threshold 4 and idk how i progressed till that, do you really have to complete both ordinary and cyclical before upgrading to a new threshold?
Nope, I don't think so. I did cyclical after completing threshold 6 for ordinary

Just a few hours ago, i finished cyclical at 4(my max) but when i tried ordinary, i thought can have the next threshold at 5 but apparently im still at 4, so i think i have to finish ordinary at 4 as well noooooo
Oh yeah, do ordinary first then cyclical since you need to clear the threshold first in ordinary before attempting it in cyclical

Once i clear Th6 and get the rewards there's no reason to play it again right? Better be so because im so tired of how tough it is and i just prefer going back to the breezy diff5....

@@shord775 yeah but the points are the same, besides I'd rather go the easy long way than the short hard way, threshold 6 is just unbeatable, so it's pointless

Some of the clips of your recordings are oddly darker than others hmmm
Yah I decreased opacity in da Vinci resolve so I could make text and images appear clearer on them, others I kept the same since I wasn't overlaying anything on top. And for a couple I thought the darker look looked cooler (the one where stelle is just vibing in DU lobby/main menu in that persona aaah vibe with all that yellow and gold colour stuff). It's a common editing technique.
