Lucki Eck$ is another one of Chicago's top up & coming emcees. In the summer of 2013 he broke through with the release of his debut mixtape, Alternative Trap. The project caught the attention of critics and fans for its stripped down production from Plu2o Nash and stark bars from the rapper. In November, we invited Lucki Eck$ and Plu2o Nash into the studio for a Closed Session to learn more about their approach to making music, and their evolving chemistry. Dude is so original with his music. Usually people who are rapping about some of the same stuff he is really follow other people in terms of production, and stuff like that, but you can tell that he has his own vision. When it comes to Trap music, I see him as being one of the saviors, and one guy that can do the genre proud.
