I am rooting for Miss Bulacan, Chelsea Manalo, to become Miss Universe Philippines 2024 because she resembles Miss Universe 1998, Mpule Kwelagobe from Botswana, Africa. She won the title in Trinidad and Tobago. Surprisingly, her face resembles Janelle Commissiong, the first black woman to be crowned Miss Universe in 1977 (Trinidad and Tobago) held in the US.
100% percent she deserves the crown. She came from behind and slayed like Rabiya in 2020 an Luigi Gomez in 2021.

You simply cannot believe that there are black asian's too and it exists in our country 😂. Some of us are really waiting for a black queen to crowned many attempted and after a long years of wait there she goes. History is made.
Quite the contrary, I've always known there were black Asians in the country and got the opportunity to see and meet a few while on vacation in the Philippines! It's wonderful the see the diversity of the country! Yes....History is made!

She did not answer any of her question right. Rewind it. She answer in general pageant patty. Nothung specific and that cause her the crown. She is my favorite but she failed me.

Philippines is truly a melting pot and truly accepting of any race and skin color .
I was never a fan of Ahtisa or Alexie. I think the fans are hyping them up. But that don’t mean they are good in terms of technicality and communication skills. My choice was Bacoor. I have been following this pageant closely and try to pretend I’m one of the judges. I have my eyes on Bulacan since her interview with PEP TV. It was a group interview and my intention was to watch Bacoor only. I was grateful that they included Bulacan in the group. I heard her speaking and I was instantly in love with her. And then came prelim, she slayed hard. So when Bacoor didn’t make it to Top 5, my bet went to Bulacan. I think I cracked the code of who is crown-worthy based on judges’ standard - if u feel at ease when u see a girl perform on stage and in your heart you utter the word ‘wow’, she is THAT girl. On the other hand, if you feel like something other than at ease, that girl needs work.

Since day 1 I knew ahtisa and alexie weren’t going to win, or at least didn’t deserve to win. I’m not sure why people were so fixated on them. From an outsider perspective, they were never the front runners!

Perhaps Miss Universe PH is making new formulation. Since black empowered women slowly recognized and strutting the Miss Universe runway staged. This is just my observation. Crowned Miss Universe PH 2024 is good but she needs to work more on her QnA to give more gravitas and conviction.

While Miss Bulacan was not in my top 20 at the beginning of the process (I did not know enough about her), she eventually made it to my top 5.

No, I said it correctly. I believe she is the first woman of color to be crowned Miss Universe Philippines. Other women of color have competed but have not won. If I am incorrect, please let me know. I like to keep my facts straight. Thanks for watching the video and keeping me on my toes! LOL

Entire presentation. Taguig and Cainta was with her on that. Ahtisa was obviously a bit unnatural. I have always called it from the beginning that she is not going to win despite of the favoritism from the majority. Shes doing too much here and there(Nitpicking here) but thats the reality check.
