Evolve is an action video game with a focus on both co-operative, and competitive, multiplayer gameplay. The game adapts a '4v1' asymmetrical structure where four players take control of the Hunters, while the fifth player controls the Monster. The Hunters' main objective is to track and hunt the Monster in a limited amount of time, while the Monster's goal is to evolve and make themselves more powerful.
In the beginning of a match, a 30-second headstart is given to the Monster so that they can have enough time to escape before the Hunters parachute from a plane to where the Monster started. Each map features an open world environment for players to explore and play within. To help the Hunters navigate the environments quickly, they are equipped with jetpacks, allowing them to jump over obstacles and cliffs. The jetpack can also be used to dodge attacks performed by the monster, though it consumes a Hunter's energy. The team can track the monster, as well as place waypoints on an interactive map. The color of these waypoints are different based on what players have marked. The waypoint mark turns yellow for environment, orange for wildlife or red for the Monster.
The Monster needs to grow stronger in order to fight the Hunters by hunting and killing other local wildlife in order to gain experience points. When it gains enough experience, the Monster can evolve. Through evolution, the Monster's health bar is extended and refilled, and more abilities are available to the Monster, which makes it easier to kill the Hunters. However, the Monster is vulnerable during its evolution, and if caught by the hunters, the process is disrupted. The Monster can also enter a "stealth mode", allowing it to avoid detection by wildlife and Hunters.
Evolve features five different modes: Hunt, Nest, Rescue, Defend and Arena, which have different objectives for both the Hunters and the Monster. Evolve provides two different structures to these game modes: Quick Play, which starts a single playthrough match; and Evacuation, which serves as a five-match, multiplayer story mode. In Evacuation, each match gives the winning side an advantage in the next map, such as having a toxic gas the Monster is immune to, or autonomous gun turrets to assist the Hunters. The Evacuation mode ends with a 'Defend' match. Evolve also features an Observer Mode, allowing players to watch a match without playing in the match. The spectator can jump between cameras and view the match from both the Hunters' and the Monster's perspectives.
Normally, five players play in a standard round of Evolve, with four Hunters fighting one Monster. Playing with less than five players, including single player, is possible in all modes due to computer-controlled bots. These bots can control up to four of the characters, allowing between one and four human players in any game mode. Players can also switch to play as another class instantly in a single-player match.

You guys are way to harsh on Jake. Little to no shield from support and Ghost did all the damage as healer. Where the heck was assault? The last dome was not the reason they lost, support and assault just need to do their jobs.
You only need to hit the monster once with the tracking dart for all the missiles to track it, you only fire again if you missed it.
You should always position the buoys. Your damage is almost irrelevant compared to your healing combo.
Also you can throw your buoy and use your healing burst to get a massive range boost.

I hope they make evolve a lil more stealthy with new maps and new mechanics, I loved the old evolve but I just didn't have a pc that could play it. I hope they bring back a lil bit of the climactic fighting after trying to hide yourself.

Since his healing burst makes a burst from his buoys how to play emet is you throw the buoy at a teammate and as soon as it gets beer him you healing burst and if you are about to go down you throw a healing buoy at your feet and spam RB then you can revive yourself and for the reaspawn beacons you run away when a team mate is down and find a spot that makes it so the monster can't see it in the sky ( so like in a cave) and can't see from the front and there is no need to shoot twice with his blasters as just one shot will shoot out all his missiles. :)
While he was evolving take some chances to reduce the monster armor. You screwed up a chance and stood back.

Had some performance struggles, but then I finally got the hang of and started rocking with Goliath litteraly, I've got some sweet aim rock-lobbing.

You need to stop walking straight into spider traps.
Also you only need to hit the monster once with the manual shot to deal maximum damage.

i have never done as well as a medic as i have with emet. his healing thingy's are great and the fact that the heal burst with you is frikin amazing

Only thing id have to say about that is take the shot if it will land and try not to shoot after because his last shot directs the missiles so even if the monster moves they will follow him

Yes just yes! Me and my friend carried our team(he playing as Emet and me playing as Kala).
emet is awesome. I totally trolled the monster once with him. first I rezzed my team 3 times while hiding in bushes away from combat, then when he gone stage 3 I went to get useful healing and dealing dmg. a while later I got knocked out but I got rezzed and dashed away to set up another beacon then reengaged the monster. I got knocked out again soon but my allies finished him off
also assuming the monster ain't focusing em you can keep downed folks up indefinitely
I accidentally played emet in arena mode against ai... glad I was down longer than I was up
My favorite medic just for its voice lines and the best weapon in the game FINGERBANG! by the was you just need to land 1 hit on the monster for your misiles to chase it
you can throw the healing buoys and heal burst them mid air like a healing grenade, so you don't have to wait for it to land, and your heal burst is on a really low cool down so don't be scared to use it.

True. I don't have a gaming Pc, but I can say that if you have a decent mouse and fast computer, aiming is so much better. High sensitivity helps so you don't have to move your arm at all.
I mean it makes perfect sense, instead of your thumb controlling your aim, its your entire dominant hand that you use to aim.
Josh L Yup. Seems that ghost is one of those youtubers though that caters to console users and acts like they are just as good in their "own ways". Either that or he is completely ignorant to the situation. Though I will say it is nice having my console hooked up to a bigger tv. Because I need destiny and gears of war and such.

Emet really is my favorite healer, and probably the tankiest if you have some regeneration on him and constantly use your healing abilities

it is really hard for me to use slim because those drones that he has always get destroyed whenever i put them on someone and they get hit

+Gary Morrison use slim medium range and just damage him so you get bursts one after another, burst should be your primary way to heal while the drones are helpfull to heal people that are down or out of the fight
I like Emet as a character, he's fun to play but what I don't like about him is how every random I ever find who plays him tries to play hero and ends up screwing over the whole time.

Have you played with controller? How do you know it's bad? Controller can be good and especially in a game which doesn't require much precision.

@@vaelophisnyx9873 jeah, but it would be stupid to get that close. Keep your distance, fire some precise shots and don't get your self in close combat if you don't need to. Therefore a mouse is objectively better

i litterally play emet just cuz of the random ourbursts his demoncore does and how the other hunters react to it
With emet just fire the missle traker one time so you don't waste your missles and stay on the healing buoy, those things can get destroyed!

As EMET you position your heal drones around the main area where you will be fighting the monster so you can heal burst where your teammates will most likely be throughout the fight. Emet IS BEST MEDIC

With Emet if you shoot the monster once it fires the whole clip and every aiming shot you take uses on middle of your clip and if you miss the monster after a hit all the missles will home in on the spot you shot be it a wall or wildlife

Not to be condescending, but you only need to fire your tracker once. It unloads the whole clip of rockets after the first tracking beacon is shot.

dont shoot more than once on the replay cannon unless you missed because the total overall damage is lost if you keep shooting instead on letting the rockets pop out and hit the monster

Why the heck you want the guys to stand still for healing, you just can throw the healing pot and heal while it flies in the air so you don't have to stop chasing the monster.... o.O Emet can also use his healing ability while he is trapped in a spider like every healer

When I go on evolve on my Xbox I don't see evolve 2.0, it still shows the screen fore OG Evolve. I'm guessing u have to update it but when it needs an update it will say "Evolve needs an update" I also tried to go to game hub but there is no need 4 update. Does anyone know how to get it? Help would be much appreciated.

The deployables dont stack they are just for range so all emet has is the heal bursts

Yeah but All slim has is his healing bursts as well, and he charges his at basically the same speed, while having to be up close doing damage.
