My first gun was a tippman lol. Then my dad got me a spyder. Eventually I convinced them to get me a shocker 2 for $650 or so but after that I was on my own.
Got a job literally just only to pay for paintball. Bought a newer shocker a year or two later, kitted it out, played a few tournies got a sponsorship. Won a free dm9, then joined the military and just never had time for it again and sold everything.
I miss it sometimes, but I can’t justify getting back into it these days.

Axe 2.0 was my first one too! Awesome starter gun, although mine can be finicky with paint. A new barrel makes it 10x better

@@novanity9611 CRBN nano barrel. 689 bore insert is the only one I use. It’s nice and quiet. Tbh though, if you’re set on playing paintball and want a good gun, save the money and buy an etha 3 at least. I got a used Dye M3+ and it’s lightyears above the Axe. The difference in performance is worth the money.

i recommend a emek for the little man. its light weight and really really REALLY reliable and efficient. with electrical markers, they have a higher chance of having problems and he can forget turning on the gun and much more before a round starts. Keep up the content. Have fun paintballin’!
Thanks for watching. This was taken back in 2022. A scenario team gave him the set up for free. But I agree the emek is a great marker. You keep on ‘ballin yourself! :)

Yea he was stoked to have that other scenario team gift/give him the set up. And I must say he has came a long ways since he first got this gear. I know his dad is real proud of him.

Nice, I had to buy my first one it was a Tippmann 68 special, aka the cast iron Beast. I saved up all my paper out money to get it
My first was a Brass Eagle Talon. $30 all my friends got them and it got us all into paintball.
Mine too!! Back in 1998. Then “upgraded” to a Brass Eagle Tigershark 👍

@@Drewluxas used to be able to contact Empire and they could send you out a replacement. They had sent me one for my 2015 Axe Pro. Iirc GI Sportz bought Empire…?? Maybe contact them or check eBay.

My first marker is shocker amp ninja 68 4500 and spire 4 got lucky
Not hating but since i play competitive paintball (xman) I don't recommend speedball guns like dye hk or plant eclipse to start as your first ever gun. Always start with either a rental or a tippman Cronus to get the feel for it because I'll be damned paintball is costly

That trigger finger is itchy...... first thing it's barrel control and trigger finger placement. My guns trigger button is about a mm or 2 above where his finger was...
