Manny Escamilla That wasn’t her fault but the Food Network & her PR team’s. That request was made during her cookbook tour and her PR team overlooked/did not read the request. They said Ina receives hundreds of requests every month and they cannot accommodate them all at once. It’s not as if she received the request on her personal email. That’s why the request was turned down twice. But Ina eventually agreed with it but the parents of the child said they already made a different request to just visit a theme park & see a dolphin show. They said they didn’t want to stress their child any further & it wasn’t their intention to put Ina in such a negative spotlight.

Two of my sisters chose not to have children and are very happy with their choice. They decided when they were young, and they are now in their forties and have no desire to have children, nor do their spouses. They love their lifestyle and are great aunts. My brother has children because he and his wife wanted four, and my husband and I have 2, and we did not want any more. We are all happy in our choices, not having children for some couples is the right decision.

the point of marriage is to have children. Biologically, Women's prime child bearing years are approximately between age 20 -28. Women today are having their children late and doctors classify them as geriatric pregnancies. The quality of women's eggs are declining by age 30 and decline rapidly at age 35. women are born with a set number of eggs, they don’t make any new eggs during their lifetime and women lose over 1000 eggs per month due to atresia and natural cell death. The loss of eggs accelerates with age. Up until the 1970's people generally got married around 18-25 years old. It seems to have coincided with Women's Lib and The Pill.

I know it sounds outdated and sexist, but the truth is that a good, basic cook, someone who can do laundry well and a good listener is the way to a GOOD MAN'S heart! You'd be surprised how many of the guy's I knew growing up who when they were in College in their early 20's and I was in my mid teens who would tell me I was going to make someone a WONDERFUL wife one day after they had seen my cooking, laundry skills and I'd spent time just listening to them and a good share of them were what we'd call "players" today lol. I've been married almost 30 years now and while my husband would NEVER say he married me for my cooking, laundry skills or because I'm a good listener, he DOES do A LOT of complimenting of those talents and letting me know HOW MUCH HE APPRECIATES THOSE QUALITIES!💜💜

I dont understand all the hate towards these two. If you dont personally know them or are presently living with them, how can you makes judgments about their marriage and life together? You think she's a bit snobby? Most of you would be too if you grew up wealthy and then married a highly intelligent spouse who became wealthy by being damn good at what they do. You know, its ok to be happy for someone else. We dont have to talk shit about every single person we dont know but have pre- conceived opinions about. Whatever, I'll shut up now

I think she just comes off as snobby as do many many people who were born are grew up in the area where she did. I've met and befriended several people from that area that come across the same way. 2 from Rhode Island and 1 from Connecticut. She has a very dry sense of humor as I've learned by watching her on Barefoot Contessa. And THEY ARE so loving towards each other. I wish we could all have relationships like theirs.

,@@charmainkilloran9133 , agreed, some rob banks. Others break into homes. And some manipulate emotions to sell a dream...less likely to land them in jail, but just as destructive. Enticing folks to eat unhealthily is unforgivable. Without excellent health, there's not much joy in life. These two birds are milking it for all they can. Any dummy can make "comfort food" frying in animal fat, using lots of salt & sugar. We need smarter chefs who have their followers at heart, not their wallets. She has two chins and no neck. She wasn't born that way.
