This watch should have been called QVC instead of PRX. With that in mind, I have a Poedagar clone which, for $11, is more than acceptable. Magnificent roast, Norm. Cheers! 🍻
Having owned well over 50 watches in all shapes / sizes /budgets and having tried on scores more I will say this The 35mm quartz PRX is just about the most PROPORTIONATELY perfect watch you will find - from a design perspective
I recently picked up the digital 40 mm version threw it on an FKM I’m over the moon! I bought a 35m for my wife and a gold 40 for my son. I think it’s the coolest. They are apparently discontinued even better.😢
I quite like the PRX but Im an elderly gentleman from a country town, I ended up giving mine to a mate who is a 6 ft London DJ & it really suits him. Also it wears big, & the display caseback is silly, & the lume is shit. 😂
The 40mm size in a sport watch, the uninspired waffle dial, the Contrasting fonts on the top of the dial in comparison with lower fonts, and finally, the incorporated bracelet which limits the styling options, all are failing in this watch and yet, it changed the watch industry, by peaking interest in 1970’s watch designs.
I’m currently wearing a PRX quartz with a hand painted galaxy dial from IFL that I enjoy. So I have to disagree with the roast you are presenting. Thanks for the video Norman
Stop dissing Unsolved Mysteries lol. The original PRX design was intended as a quartz piece, and it must be my least favourite Tissot. Call me weird, too old, British or whatever, but this entire integrated bracelet hysteria is kind of lost on my simple brain.
😁 . I think the trouble with the PRX is that it is the same as all integrated bracelet watches, they look good in photos on other people's wrists, but are never as comfortable as a conventional watch on your own wrist. They are form over function, take the clasp, it's always a butterfly clasp with no easy adjustment which means you are forced to wear a heavy bracelet watch too loose just so it looks better 🙄.
If you wear sweaters around your neck… you may own a PRX. 😂
