- On a West Coast tour run, Reckless Kelly's front-man Willy Braun used the scenery of multiple stops along the way as a source of inspiration in writing "Thinkin' 'Bout You All Night." Before this LIVE performance on their 2020 taping session for The Texas Music Scene, he explains why this song is on 'American Jackpot' as opposed to 'American Girls' because on the surface it may seem to fit in as a love-lost song about a girl.

This album is in my top 5 of all time love it. thanks RK
Great song, standard RK tune. Not rushed, just smooth and flawless. These guys know how to play as a band which sets them apart from a lot of popular acts these days.
It's not about a girl but makes me think about a girl I've been thinking about all night every night awesome song love all reckless Kelly music
I think they're really all about a girl. 😏
These boys rock! And have been for a long time
Going to be a hit and you know it !
I love this song so much! Such a great video!
Yeah, but...it's also about a girl.
I dig the more up-front piano on this live version.
Is David Abeyta no longer with them?
He retired (amicably) about a year ago to spend more time with his family and work on production projects. I'm torn about his replacement - I love Ryan Engleman and think he's been a great fit for RK, but it also just reminds me that Turnpike will likely never be the same.
@@johnkupfer4611 is Ryan officially in the band now? Or still just sitting in?
@@ejmcguinness6875 just filling in. Evan felker from turnpike announced he's sober and ready to make new music about a month ago
@@dylanstedronsky2106 I heard about that. I'm so happy for Evan and TT. He had us all worried he was gonna pull a Hank. I wonder if finding a new permanent guitarist just hasn't been a priority for RK or if they're having trouble filling that role. I miss David.
@@ejmcguinness6875 yea i don't think Ryan even played much songs on the album I think we was just touring. Can't wait for them to be back out on the road
