I lived in Gladstone until last year. I stopped in to this business to look at an early 50’s Ford truck. They assured me it was a recent color match paint job. After looking over the whole vehicle I noticed two different colors. I asked the owner to come look at it with me. His response…”clearly this is isn’t the truck for you.” Then he walked back to his office. My opinion is that they sell over priced vehicles that have been poorly patched together and then painted and caulked to hide the truth of their actual condition.
I have never purchased a car from them but I have sold two through Juan and it worked out great for us on the consignment side . In this case I would put more blame on the one who did the inspection as that is the last word in my opinion. It could have been solved at that point before it was shipped overseas.
I was about to buy a car from there but after listening to your video, I am going to back out of the deal. Glad I saw this before I signed on the dotted line.
You’re not overreacting. This is a robbery. It would be better to describe the car for its real and honestly condition and price it accordingly. Another case of putting “Lipstick on a pig!”
Bought a car a year and a half ago and had it shipped to UK. Already had it repainted and am not having the full undercarriage as well as panels replaced due to corrosion:(
