When I was a kid, we had a Renault 4 that was white, except for the hood and the hatch which happened to be metallic green. On the 1st of May sometimes in the late 80's we were going to a festival, and the only free parking spot we could find, was right next to a metallic green Renault 4 with a white hatch and hood... Strange coincidence...
When I was a young soldier in Germany I was having a clean up before going down town. Fallingbostel, for a night out before going home on leave. I was having a shave and in the mirror i saw a soldier fro the Royal Artillery behind me. He was a friend from home whose mother had been told by my mother where I was. Later I was posted to Bovington in Dorset, the Royal Armoured Corps. I was duty driver one night and had to pick up a bloke from Wool station. I was the same lad that turned up in Germany. I was demobbed from there and one job I did was bus driving. I was driving the 82 from Leigh to Bolton. The route crossed the A6, known as Four Lane Ends and I crossed over into Bolton. About half a mile along that road was road on the left where Bolton Corporation busses turned round and went back. They has a habit of remaining there until the 82 passed, even though they should have gone. What made it bad was, it was rush hour when I went past, he tucked in behind me and followed me with his conductor sat on her arse doing nothing. He pulled up behind me at the bus station and I jumped out of my cab to tear off a few strips off him. I pulled his cab door open and sitting there was the same lad I saw in Germany and Bovington.

Got a call and it was from my childhood phone number in Kentucky. The woman was from my hometown and was trying to call her friend in Minnesota. My area code was 570 and Minnesota was 507. The rest of the number was the same. She transposed the 0 and 7 and got me in Pennsylvania. Also turns out her son was working in a factory that caught fire near my old neighborhood. I was 6 years old and was outside watching it. No one was hurt.
