【Synopsis】Born into a scholarly family, Huang Yimei grew up carefully sheltered, displaying artistic talent from a young age. Upon entering the workplace, she meets Zhuang Guo Dong and they fall in love, but they eventually separated by the pressures of life. These experiences helped Huang Yimei to have a clearer plan for her life, deciding to return to school for further education. After graduation, she married her senior, Fang Xiwen. However, this marriage is unfortunately doomed to end as their careers lead them down vastly different roads. Huang Yimei started her own business in the field of art curation, she meets her soulmate, Pu Jia Ming. However, Pu Jia Ming is terminally ill and only has a few months left to live. Their love story ultimately ended with a farewell in life and death. Despite her grief and pain, she ultimately chooses to look forward to the future, living out her life in the fullest and most dazzling fashion.

This is one of my top 5 Chinese Dramas on my viewing list. I couldn't find any boring moments of this drama. I only hope, that the Writer will produce a sequel to this as I wanted the rest of Rosie's life to be portrayed. Totally 5 thumbs up! 👍👍👍👍👍♥

Her TV and film appearances are still very appreciated, as she can play in many different registers, as she again showed in 2022 drama A Dream of Splendor, 2023 healing drama Meet Yourself, and now 2024 story of a woman from her early 20s to her 40s in Story of Rose. In that one, "Huang Yimei"is 22 when she starts her career as art curator, and meets her first love. It will not pan out, and neither will Huang Yimei's next marriage, but it is nevertheless not a sad story but one of resilience. am i the only one who really doesnt lie rose's character so far? yes, she is young but she is so immature and inconsiderate. i feel bad only for the fiance who got dumped on the day of her marriage registry. both girls are too good for that old man in my opinion
the mother of the two siblings is the only mature one who is trying to raise her immature children right. the father is too lenient, especially with his daughter. he finds her behavior endearing, only the mother and, to a lesser extent, the brother are willing to discipline rose and chase away her incessant suitors.
