I just got that exact reel for $18 from Ali. This probably was made where they make all the Penn spinning reels this is just a low end Asian version. I think well worth the money and I've gotten a couple other reels a couple of brands that were less than $10 and they are good reels.

it may not be a bad reel for $40 but it's certainly not a penn
