It's even pretty simple to its core, just full of spin-offs and other series being set within the Nasuverse. As a fan from a decade, all I can tell is that the point is how cool of a world Nasu created that other good writers like Narita wanted to write in it

It did a lot of damage to Saber's character tho, and it had so many things wrong that Nasu had to make it a whole different timeline from the thing it was meant to be a sequel for. But I will say, it has what is probably the best Excalibur scene.

Yes, each series has a different story, but I admit that this Fate anime is one of the best anime in the action fighting genre
