What I used to use, kinda same thing, is old Refrigerators. Id line the inside with heavy duty foil with Metal Foil Tape, fill the Crisper Drawer with dirt, and use whatever light you choose. Break off the Trigger switch for the light, disconnect the power to the Freon pump and hook the plug up to a Timer. Big, metal, insulated, sealed TIGHT. Heat, light, odor, NOTHING escapes. Not even heat from a high heat bulb. Works pretty good and nobody suspects it a "Plant House"

I too am usually under the aegis of vodka and pizza when gardening and building. Also, I did some more research on a question I asked about using plastic for hydroponics. The BPA molecule, and other plasticizers, are non-polar and too big to enter the Casparian Strip, so they do not get into the plant. Seems like I was being too cautious.
I will compile the papers I read. There was no one direct answer, I gleaned it from multiple papers about the Casparian Strip and the BPA molecule. I will get the papers together that aren't behind a paywall and send it to you. I'll post what I can in a comment so everyone can see it.

I loved the video, but have a question. Normally, you use the Kratky method of hydroponics, but in your last couple of videos you decided to add a pump to oxygenate the water. Why is that? Is it because of the specific plant being cultivated?
i use a small atomizer in the water to turn it into vapor, the roots suck it up...they are cheap cause once you toss it in the nutes they get coated in salts and stop working efficiently after about 50-65 days depending how strong the solution you use.

Its climbs with hooks like this plant, it grows very fast very easy and big and you get a ton of veg to eat plus in Cali weather is perfect you dont need grow light. Instead of MasterBlend tomato I use Monopotassium Phosphate and Potassium Sulfate, but it’s simpler to use Jebs mix. for this one it is the ratio of the root mass to the surface area of the water. also indoors it is relatively inexpensive to add air

1 Gallon Water
