- The eVault needs to be fully charged before you put it into service I had to get this battery charged for my offgrid customer for the sake of time. I’m temporarily wiring up my personal Solark to charge a Fortress Evault 18.5
JOHNY !! Thank you so much for the shout out ! Ben has already watched the video 20+ times first time he was in such "shock" it was like the best early christmas present he ever got almost brought him to tears ! He has been on cloud 9 ever since. You might of just made his year ! He cant get over that 12k$ battery pack and that you were strong enough to lift it.. I had to explain to him what a Hoss is and he said I want to be a Hoss like Johnny and did some flexing! for those that didn't see my post in a previous video Ben has downs syndrome and thinks Johny is like superman (He loves solar and batteries)what a heck of a awsome guyJohny is ! Congrats on your incoming child 🙏 if you guys could only see how important this was to him y'all would be tearing up !
Well just for the record I can not lift that battery. It’s on rollers and I was dragging it. It’s very heavy. 450lbs. Tell Mr ben I appreciate his viewership and that he made my day. God bless you and your brother.
@@GainSolarPower I'm happy to report hes probly watched it 100 times now and today and he put on his tool belt and ran some wires threw straws for conduit to a new solar panel he got off of a solar flash light ran it to a switch and then to a led light above his bed so he can read. He told the neighbor today in detail about you and that hes going to be a hoss like Johny Valentine naibor got a real kick out of it! johny you make this world a better place ! Cant thank you enough!
I moved and took my solark with me and installed a sunny inverter in its place because I wanted to bring the solark with me. I agree their packaging is awesome.
The foam....
Preach it "Brother Johny"! Always enjoy your content. Watching and enjoying from Canada.
Thanks for watching
Johnny! You impressed me every time you make a video. Your humor is infectious to everyone. Your knowledge is vast! I love the songs you sing. Crazy!
Another great video thanks for taking the time to make them.
This was a pretty easy one
Nice Johnny some days we just got to do what we got to do. and advanced congrats on the 5th.
I am here to give off grid wannabe a shoutout! :) what’s up friend?
@@SolarDrew Thanks for the shout out buddy
boss man a busy guy. getter done!
I like to stay busy
@@GainSolarPower Heck yeah, i also prepped today fro jobs tomorrow, self employed baby!
What is mr Ben’s channel name?
As a less jackleg way of doing this in future, add a NEMA 14-50 receptacle next to that panel and get or make a 10ft to 15ft 6/4 or 8/4 suicide cord with a NEMA 14-50 plug (you can get them as replacement cords for 50A service RVs new or get them for much cheaper from junkers).
What gauge wire?
5 WOW, your gonna have your own install crew, congrats, question why do they not ship them charged , or is that not lawful or is the voltage and chance of problems from high voltage? also fortress or solark should make you a special charger!
Johnny Valentine at his best! I watch every video! Congratulations to you and your wife too!
Thanks for watching.
Heyyyyyy, Johnny! Got a quick question. I have a 220V line that was initially made for a hot tub, I put a plug on to run my welder. Could I connect the wires from the plugin to my Sol-Ark 12k and do the same thing you are doing in this video with my battery bank system? I haven't seen any videos of using Wifi to add or check for Sol-Ark updates but, because I've had my Sol-Ark 12k for over 6 months sitting in it's box, I am sure there might be some. Because I don't have any internet service on my off-grid farm, where I am going to be installing it, I want to make sure that it has all current updates before I do. Can you do a video showing how to update the unit using its dongle?
I’ve done exactly what you are talking about. The easiest way would be to temp install it and push all the updates from a stable WiFi connection and then pack it back up and take it to the off grid farm.
Love the singing! You are talented! Thanks for another informational video.
Thanks.
My job I will work with 120v to 100,000v AC for over 20 years and it still can scare the crap out of me.
Yikes. Yes electricity is to be feared. Building stuff and hooking stuff up is fun but making it hot and messing with it gets me ancy
@@GainSolarPower I been told by lineman that they would hate to do my job but I feel the same way with theirs job. It must be the training but we have lots of the same training.
Love it 😊
