While the challenge looks fun, my favourite part of Sim Lab is drawing and not getting it to work because it's so buggy. The engine glitches and uses too much random motion, so it's not very repeatable.
I was surprised I got that close that fast. Recorded that all in one stretch. I will add a comment when I see how many tries it finally takes me. I like that I can change the height without leaving the sim now.

I am wanting to make an LED sign, so want to make 3D letters, for example the word Hartleys in say CommercialScript BT, is there anyway I can do this in tinkercad, I just need for examples the outer walls and a back plate, I am going to try and use 3D resin for the front (filling say 3mm and then UV cure it, the back plate will hold the leds?

Oh yeah! Had a lot of fun with it. As a teacher though I’m always just trying to get everyone out there to give it a try and have some fun with it. Same with most of my projects I give you steps to get finished, but then I always hope for you to make them something special in the end. 👍
