We have a couple options depending on the implant placement and screw access. We can alter the Hiossen ST abutment to fit the case. If we aren't able to alter the stock Ti ST abutment, then we can have a custom abutment milled at Hiossen. If you would like 3rd party, non-OEM parts, we can mill that in house here at ROE.

If I wanted polished/ unglazed zirconia on the subcritical contour of an implant crown, can this be achieved on a stock TI base?

Yes, we can achieve a polished/ unglazed zirconia on the subcritical contour of an implant crown in a stock TI base. We can also do this if we use a custom TI base or custom abutment. We typically only polish the occlusal surface of our zirconia but if there are other areas of the crown that you want polished, we can do that, just let us know. Please keep in mind that the zirconia we use is from a shaded puck with the body of the Vita classic shade tabs. If it is only being polished, then we cannot give other shade variations.

What is mean by stock abutment and UCLA abutment?

A stock abutment comes directly from your implant representative, they will have straight abutments and most implant companies do have an option to order an angled stock abutment as well. We can also order the stock parts for you. The UCLA abutment is an older restorative protocol that we don't see very often anymore, which is a castable abutment offered with a milled gold alloy base or in a fully castable option.
