I have this product and I will have to say. the comments here about it being difficult to put on and off are true. I'm currently trying to put it on now. I've been doing so for the past 30 minutes.

I wish they would upload updated instruuctional videos. A trainer came to show me how to use the lower body system, but of couse it was brand new to me so I didn't know what questions to ask. He told me he wouldn't be coming back again, but that there were instructional videos and he showed me the QR codes in the 'get started' leaflet so I could access them on my phone. .
So the next day (yesterday) when I used the system for the first time by myself questions arose and I went to the RUclips instructional videos as was told. At first I was confused and thought I was watching the wrongful videos. But then I realized that the visits ranged from 3 to 8 years old, and the equipment and garments were not the same as mine because they were outdated. So my questions weren't answered.
Questions like, in the videos the leg garments overlap the trunk garment, so why do I have a 3" gap between them at the top of my legs?
And that brought me to my next question: My legs and waist had been measured by a Tactile Medical rep, length and circumference so I assumed they would be custom fitted. But on the papers that came with it, it is marked size Medium. Is that why there is a gap at the top of my legs that shouldn't be there?
I had high hopes for this system to help my edema... but now I'm frustrated and discouraged

Hi! I went to see a Vascular Surgeon. He sent me to go have Outpatient Lymphedema Therapy. When going to the therapy, the therapist was the one who had measured my feet areas, ankles, my lower & upper legs were measured in different places. Then, they measured each leg, from the very top of my leg, to the bottoms of eeach foot. Fits me just fine. I like how it relaxes me, while it works. I just have both Full Leg Garments. No other parts / areas. I was told to stand up, adjust the foot & leg tabs to fit, but not too tight. When I had done that, to just losen the top two tabs, to remove them. The best place to do the treatments, is on an adjustable bed, or reclining chair. When I am ready to have the treatment, lay the legs out on the bed, open up & have the upper two tabs, wide open, slide my feet & legs into each, refasten the upper two tabs. Then, raise the leg part of the adjustable bed, as far as it will go (this helps with removing the fluid). Do the same with the head part of the adjustable bed. Finally, turn on the machine. Reverse the process, when the treatment time is over. Lay the full legs on a table, that you have the machine on, right ny your bed, or reclining chair. Next time that you use it, it will be right there & ready to be used.

I had made up my mind to return this product because it took approximately 15 min. to put on, and because I had a time trying to get the device tight enough for its purpose to work correctly. I'm an amputee of the right leg just below the knee so I had to lay down to put the device on, but after watching this video I'm going to give it another try.

I hope that works for you. I am going to try it out with a client today & told her it seems to work better applying standing or sitting.

Nice how they show how to put it on if it's only one leg. But I have to put it on both legs. It's hard.

How do you attached both leg garments though? Was told you can only do 1 leg at a time, even with their adapter.

@@RebrandSoon0000 I am about to get the pump and was told for two legs and the shorts: there is an adapter that is sent with the machine to increase the amount of ports from 4 to 8 ports.

This is wayyyyy more difficult than it has to be. If it isn’t put on correctly it won’t work correctly. They need to offer multiple size zip up garments WITHOUT the Velcro. You simply slide them on, zip it up and go. All this Velcro crap is overwhelming.

It's not that easy to put on or take off, and you have to have it wrapped very well.

I love how they suggest "Prior to applying your garment set, we recommend connecting them to the controller unit." but they fail to show you how utterly impossible it is to do that if you are somewhat overweight or swollen. I recommend they have their biggest size person apply the garment and actually start the program. You won't be so excited to buy this if you are that person. Also, these garments need to at least have separate women's and mens' body garments and ideally custom made ones that allow for some weight loss or gain. These garments fit men the best.

This video might be helpful if I had been sent a product that actually fits! The leg pieces are so long that my feet can't reach the ends. Some when I try to fit them to my legs all I get is lots of folds and bunching. Supremely disappointed!

No, dont use if you have ulcers on legs

    • @pmarengo21
      @pmarengo21 Год назад

Yes, you can I'm using it specifically because I have chronic ulcers on my lower leg. My cardiologist and the doctor at the wound clinic I go to for weekly treatment said that not only is it OK to use with the ulcers (they're bandaged), but this will help them heal faster.
I was surprised at how gentle the pressure is on the leg garment, it did not cause any pain whatsoever from my leg wounds. It actually felt like a wonderful light massage

Mine are timed on machine. Trunk only is 16 minutes. Full legs and trunk is 60 minutes and just full legs are 45 minutes.

The Lymphedema Therapist will tell Tactile Medical, & you. Then, when your equipment arrives everything is already pre - programmed in. All you need to do is, to put the hoses on, plug theachine in, get set up, legs in, turn on the machine. It does it all, even shutting off.
