This is the most in depth I’ve seen any interviewer ask one of the girls about 5H since the split. I really wish they’d talk more about it but I do respect that everyone is healing like Lauren said, which takes time. Especially now knowing how traumatic of an experience that was for them.
That right there tells the story of the 5H girl’s… they were all just young adolescents that the industry abused for their own benefit and they all dealt with it in their own way which sounds like feelings were hurt all around. I’m glad to see at least two of them are talking about the abuse the industry inflicts on these young artists. I hope the other three girls are healing as well
I agree with this. The way they talk about their time with 5H, it's sad and it's maddening to think that the girls at such a young age not only their youth got wasted but they also have to suppress their talents since they were told shit that belittled and limit their capabilities. I'm glad they're finally doing their own thing, they're free and I hope they all find their own true happiness. They deserve that. I miss seeing them together tho. I hope one day they can reunite, even not back as Fifth Harmony but just friends catching up.
yh it's very sad what the industry did to the and i just watched about ally talking about fifth harmony saying she went through a lot i feel bad for all 5 of them but it's glad to see lauren doing good
Exactly , the tension in the group was all due to the things that were happening behind the scenes with the management , they were just 5 strangers put together for a competition and people luckily liked them and the industry saw dollars signs and used them as piggy banks , they had NO idea why they were getting into , none of them nor their parents had any experience with the music industry and when their contracts started taking a tole on them they started to cope with it differently and when that happened they were still 18-22 , still extremely young to know how to cope with this in a healthy way as a group
its sad because their group was just a toxic competition thing, the labels pick fav and drop the others off. i mean its not the ones fault, its all the management and labels' devious plans and needs for money.
Actually there are three out of the five girls talking about it from what I understand (Lauren, Ally, and Normani). I also hope they will all find ways to heal from that traumatic experience they dealt with from a young age. That’s one of the main reasons (if not the only reason) why celebrities tries to discourage kids, teens, and some times young adults from going into the spotlight at such a young age because they experience that as well in some way and don’t want the future generations of celebrities to go through that.
No matter what happened behind the scenes between them , no matter what happenes next , no matter where they go and what they do , NO ONE will understand those girls the way they understand eachother and that’s a special bond , such a crucial part of their lives both career wise and just stepping into adulthood ,

I think they could have been. But they were manipulated and controlled and pitted against each other a lot. It’s hard to stay friends in that environment but they weren’t even friends going into it. As Lauren said they were all hurt and suffered with bad mental health with no help offered to them and she openly admits she wasn’t a positive person to be around which is probably the same for all of them. It certainly explains the dramatic fallout when Camila left. They were jealous that she was able to escape without sacrificing her career and felt betrayed. there still so much pain, she sounds defensive in some answers she gave... I think it would be great to hear their experiences so that younger artists and specially female one can be more aware about how the music industry works and also through their testimonies help to make some changes... but it's their story to tell and they will or will not tell it, and either way is okay
@Anne Day Huh? I didn’t get at all that he was implying insulation with Camila in mind trying to paint her as the victim. When he brought up how the SP created insulation, it sounded like he was pointing out the difference between both groups in how they were able to create insulation amongst each other and against any other forces outside the group that may have been of any influence. She took offense bc I think she thought he was actively trying to fault them for not doing the same but it didn’t sound that way to me and it certainly didn’t sound as if he was being subliminal abt Camila. If anything, Lauren was indirectly referring to her towards the end abt not being able to judge anyone for how they acted while hurt etc. It’s also important to mention that neither you or I know what happened in the group or what Camila’s dynamic was like with them behind the scenes, what the cameras showed us and their respective statements once they separated only tells us as outsiders so much. No one but them knows how things went on so we can assume that she was being sneaky and that she and Ally weren’t close but those are just assumptions bc we don’t know the details. They have yet to divulge much.
Yes you can hear the defensiveness in her answers. I’m sure this whole situation was very hard on them. Maybe they will all get to a point where they can talk about it openly and without any hurt.
@Anne Day it sounded to me more like he was implying that Camila was the reason why the group wasn't insulated like the Spice girls so it didn't sound like he was saying that they excluded Camila but it sounded like he was saying that if it weren't for Camila, they would've had that insulation.
Have always had a love and appreciation for her mind ❤ Beautifully said, especially those last like 45 seconds Glad to see her progress, I hope her and the others have healed/continue to heal and prosper
As much as I would have loved these ladies to tough it out and remain as Fifth Harmony , I’m glad they are now able to pave their own journey , where they make their own decisions now . I hope they all remain doing well and and much much more success they are all so multi talented and people need to get into them all (Ally ,Normani ,Dinah,Camilla and Lauren !!)
watching fifth harmony argue and fight a lot i was like wtf are these girls doing but now it makes sense. they are literally a bunch of strangers forced to live together and co exist with each other. its 5 different worlds that have different ways to act and react so it might get messy. all of them also were used badly by the industry which must be really hard for them. im glad they're doing their own shit now
@@babs-bofficial4928 i thought Dinah La Polt made it so that they own the name Fifth Harmony? I don’t mean like come back together as a group I meant like an online reunion on zoom or something. I think they’re gonna remain on hiatus until the contract expires so they don’t have to fulfill those last 2 albums
@@babs-bofficial4928 on their contract yes they still have two more albums but it’s not required to record those albums to get out of that contract. All contracts in that field do have a date to them that expires which is the reason why the girls are waiting until that happens before reuniting and making music again. Epic decided that they were not going to let the girls do another album but they also weren’t going to allow them to get out of their contract. That’s why the girls are taking a break which honestly I think they need it. And apparently once their contract with Epic is up Lauren, Normani, Ally, and Dinah Jane (no clue about Camila but I doubt it) are going to get together and tell the real story that happened.
The way these young artists are being taken advantage of. Fifth Harmony could've have been the happiest part of their lives. But everytime they talk about Fifth Harmony, it sounds like a cage they all got locked into. Something that they want to heal from. They're beautiful, young. I hope that they now have the artistic freedom they want.
It’s possible I think Camilla will turn around one day now that her and Shawn broke up lol based on what Lauren said I feel the girls are on a healing journey and one day they will come to realization . If u ask me they will always be connected like the sailor scouts lol
I doubt it. It would have to be for a very special occasion. Like the spice girls all came back together for the opening ceremony of the london olympics.
Well if they do I hope it is with a label and management team that will actually treat the girls properly and tbh I found Syco sketchy anyway and epic like why would they think it’s ok two minors singing that they can be a man’s suga mama?
100% they will make a comeback but it won’t be now, nor will it be in a few years. I can see it happening 20 years down the road for a really special occasion, like the Spice Girls did with the Olympics or Girls Aloud did with Children in Need… and if it goes well like those two groups did, then I could even see a reunion tour potentially happen.
I’m so proud of Lauren and her growth… even when Zach tried to get messy… “there was insulation among some of you”… she didn’t take the bait. Refreshing to see. 5H girls went thru it, good to see all 5 of them all healing and thriving… ❤️
@@SupernaturalLove100 it didn't seem to victimize Camila, he seemed to imply that if it weren't for Camila, the girls would've had that insulation. Which seems to me more like he was trying to paint Camila as the villain and kinda baiting Lauren to take a stand on that.
, they were just 5 strangers put together for a competition and people luckily liked them and the industry saw dollars signs and used them as piggy banks , they had NO idea what they were getting into , none of them nor their parents had any experience with the music industry and when their contracts started taking a tole on them they started to cope with it differently and when that happened they were still 18-22 , still extremely young to know how to cope with this in a healthy way individually let alone as a group
Me too. But love that she have, no hard feelings between her and the other girls. She love and respect all them, even though they are no longer together as a group. This why I love her as my favourite member and a solo artist.
This is the second time I saw someone from the GROUP talked about theirselves. First is Dinah then her. I know ally said something too but I never got the chance to listen too. I love these girls. They're the first girl group i stan. And I cried the whole day when I got home got the news that they disbanded. :( I miss them so much.
It honestly makes sense when you remember the five of them auditioned for solo careers and they just happened to be put into a group with people they didn't know. They made it work and went their separate ways
This interviewer was pushing, albeit in a professional way, for her to keep talking about the split. And wasn’t listening to her multiple different ways of shutting him down politely. Props to Lauren for managing a tough interview
I don’t think the interviewer was pushing, he was curious and wondering what’s going on in the band. Because Everyone would like to know, not just him.
It’s unfair to compare their start to the Spice Girls. The Spice Girls were a lot older when they became famous. They also had longer standing relationships. And they didn’t have social media aspect picking them apart 24/7.
Witnessing Lauren so mature and peaceful makes me feel so proud, especially when I once saw the version of her that was so hurt, vulnerable and exhausted. At one point five of them all dreamt of becoming a singer and being in the industry and shit, but then when they finally got there and saw it for themselves that it was not even close to what they wanted, that's what broke them down the most. And even worse, it broke them apart. Now I can see her (and the others) mentioning Camila in their interview and all of a sudden I'm proud to see how well they've aged. I'd never forget the day they all became one in their very first performance/ cover of 'Impossible'. It feels like they were destined to come together and to make the impossible possible. And I truly hope one day we'll get to see 5 of them together on stage again.

But No their team chose to tear them apart because of selfish schemes! Which is so sad I love Lauren and Normani the most tho
Lauren is literally me! I echo her sentiments because that's exactly what I'm dealing with even to this day and am still doing the work and going through the therapy of healing from the traumas I've been through. Gotta love her!
Seeing this makes me miss Fifth Harmony so much. Those girls helped me through so much. It sucks to know that they went through so much bullshit and no one knew anything. To think about the countless rumors and nagging and the constant hate. It sucks. Omg it sucks. I don’t think anyone realized how bad it was for them.

I think it would be great to hear their experiences so that younger artists and specially female one can be more aware about how the music industry works and also through their testimonies help to make some changes... but it's their story to tell and they will or will not tell it, and either way is okay
@Anne Day
Huh?
@Anne Day I did listen to that part and to me, it really sounds like he's trying to say that they could've had insulation if it wasn't for Camila.
She sounded defensive because she didn’t want to talk about it to begin with and he kept pushing it.
Have always had a love and appreciation for her mind ❤
Beautifully said, especially those last like 45 seconds
Glad to see her progress, I hope her and the others have healed/continue to heal and prosper
As much as I would have loved these ladies to tough it out and remain as Fifth Harmony , I’m glad they are now able to pave their own journey , where they make their own decisions now . I hope they all remain doing well and and much much more success they are all so multi talented and people need to get into them all (Ally ,Normani ,Dinah,Camilla and Lauren !!)
she’s so well spoken
Is anyone else, as a recovering Harmonizer, still feeling a bit raw? I am near tears watching this
watching fifth harmony argue and fight a lot i was like wtf are these girls doing but now it makes sense. they are literally a bunch of strangers forced to live together and co exist with each other. its 5 different worlds that have different ways to act and react so it might get messy. all of them also were used badly by the industry which must be really hard for them. im glad they're doing their own shit now
They barely even fought or argued... What are you talking about?💀😂
@@harmonixer5686 I know right lol.
Please tell me where you’ve seen the girls “argue and fight” because I’m still a Harmonizer to this day, and I’m yet to see this happen.
i wanna watch where they argued. wheres the vid
Lol
still wishing they would’ve asked her if they’re planning anything for the 10th anniversary for Fifth Harmony in July 2022
Probably not lol
That’s not up to her. Their label & the kind of contract they signed will decide. They literally had 2 more albums to fulfill
I hope that they all grow, heal and maybe 1 day come back together to do something together because they were pretty magical together at times.
I always wonder if fifth Harmony would ever comeback together
It’s possible I think Camilla will turn around one day now that her and Shawn broke up lol based on what Lauren said I feel the girls are on a healing journey and one day they will come to realization . If u ask me they will always be connected like the sailor scouts lol
I doubt it. It would have to be for a very special occasion. Like the spice girls all came back together for the opening ceremony of the london olympics.
@@sarahhiggins1515 ahh yes that too! Maybe even a star on the walk of fame or a pop icon award live ceremony..I’m reaching maybe😂😂
She’s so wise you can tell she’s self developed
Literally listening to 5H right now😭 I love Lauren so much❤😭
I’m so proud of Lauren and her growth… even when Zach tried to get messy… “there was insulation among some of you”… she didn’t take the bait. Refreshing to see. 5H girls went thru it, good to see all 5 of them all healing and thriving… ❤️
i don’t think that was bait i think he’s doing his job and asking a question
@@idkatthispoint4657 was it a question tho? now that I see it typed out, I think that was a shady cmment that victimizes Camila lol
@@SupernaturalLove100 I didn’t interpret it as her being the victim at all
@@SupernaturalLove100 it didn't seem to victimize Camila, he seemed to imply that if it weren't for Camila, the girls would've had that insulation. Which seems to me more like he was trying to paint Camila as the villain and kinda baiting Lauren to take a stand on that.
I don't think it was bait.
She’s literally trying so hard not to break
She is so incredibly wise. .She is amazing. Good for her. Anybody would be lucky to be around her energy.
, they were just 5 strangers put together for a competition and people luckily liked them and the industry saw dollars signs and used them as piggy banks , they had NO idea what they were getting into , none of them nor their parents had any experience with the music industry and when their contracts started taking a tole on them they started to cope with it differently and when that happened they were still 18-22 , still extremely young to know how to cope with this in a healthy way individually let alone as a group
I’m happy to see all 5 girls heal and be themselves and thrive but hope we get a reunión this year 🤞🏻
Me too. But love that she have, no hard feelings between her and the other girls. She love and respect all them, even though they are no longer together as a group.
This why I love her as my favourite member and a solo artist.
*The love i have for this woman i tell you…*
*i am happy and proud to say that Lauren Jauregui are my inspiration🤍*
This is the second time I saw someone from the GROUP talked about theirselves. First is Dinah then her. I know ally said something too but I never got the chance to listen too. I love these girls. They're the first girl group i stan. And I cried the whole day when I got home got the news that they disbanded. :( I miss them so much.
0:39 for everyone who just wants to hear her say "i love those women very much" ❤
this was the perfect answer to these questions, beautiful interview
OMG she talk the talk. I love her so much for this, she's so eloquently articulate, well read and is self aware. 💙
Her voice is so relaxing…I can’t explain it but she should do one of those meditation speaking videos lol
I love Lauren her energy is literally the best
Cada palavra que sai da boca dela me deixa embasbacado... Tão linda a maneira q ela pensa, luto muito para ser assim
“Have you been through it?” SLAAAY him queen. People think they know it all.
It’s unfair to compare their start to the Spice Girls. The Spice Girls were a lot older when they became famous. They also had longer standing relationships. And they didn’t have social media aspect picking them apart 24/7.
Wow. that was powerful. I don't know what they went through but I felt her emotions. I'm still a fan!
Wow Lauren, me sorprendió muchísimo lo madura y consciente que es de ella misma.
Can’t wait for the fifth harmony biopic movie or documentary if they make one in coming years so they can tell all
her voice!😌 so calming
1:28 that's the tea right there
"Alot of what happened to us, wasn't even us; it was all of the pieces around us, we were all really young, we were literally out of lessons with two 15yr old, two 16yr olds and a 19yr old"
The Music industry and all the toxic manipulative ppl around 5H was the downfall of 5H, they could have easily being the biggest group of all time!
But No their team chose to tear them apart because of selfish schemes! Which is so sad
I love Lauren and Normani the most tho
she’s got such a beautiful heart. you can see the maturity in her character by the way she chooses to speak and move on from those experiences
Lauren is literally me! I echo her sentiments because that's exactly what I'm dealing with even to this day and am still doing the work and going through the therapy of healing from the traumas I've been through. Gotta love her!
She's so wise. She's is learning so much!
Keep speaking truth Lauren! Love you girl!! 💘 💘 💘
It’s been so long since I’ve seen a interviewer mentioning fifth harmony especially infront of Lauren I used to own a fan acc for them
Es impresionante la madurez que demuestra Lauren en esta entrevista, felicidades!
Ohmygod, the level of maturity, understanding & self awareness… I’m shook. Truly wish that someday I can have HALF of the clarity she has.
I’m happy she’s proud of her fifth harmony back ground. The girls all come back together or a photo or a performance idk
Yassss. Lauren is so real!!! Saying what we think
Lauren always was the wise one in the group. I am dying to know if she ever speaks to Camila.
She’s speaking some real shit!!!!!
"It's not my place. It's God's place."
You rarely hear mentions of religious views among celebrity interviews. Props to her for that. Nowadays it takes courage to say you're religious.
but she’s really not religious lol
@@dt9538 "I actively speak with God. I love God with my whole heart."
"It’s about spirituality because God is a reflection of us and lives in each of us."
"I know that my darkest times were when I forgot that God existed. And when I didn’t trust in God and their vision for me."
Just some of the things she's said through the years about her faith lol
"It takes courage" Christians are not persecuted in any way
@@trainerkai1313 You'd be surprised to know how many times I've found myself in a position where I'm ashamed to say I'm religious. Because I know I'll be judged for it. And I understand, up to a certain extend, why many people are prejudiced, but it feels bad. It just does. Especially because I've had people toss me aside the moment they found out I'm faithful. The same people who proudly claim that they're open-minded and accepting.
@@trainerkai1313what are you talking abt? Christian’s have been long persecuted and hated among the people. Maybe not as much as here in America but still
Lauren had such a warm heart, I love her energy and her sense of humor.
10 years coming up this year since they were formed I wonder if we'll get tributes from all 5. Also, I wouldnt be surprised if one of them is currently writing a book fully detailing everything that went down - i know harmonizers are still confused about how unnecessarily messy Camila's exit was made to be.
Don’t think so. I mean One Direction didn’t do anything on their 10th anniversary.
@@Aaron-MackHartford all but zayn posted tributes.......
@@ellegonzi But nothing really special, like reunion or something.
@@Aaron-MackHartford yeah i know.... i only said i wondered if we'd get tributes from the 5 members. I'd be super surprised if we got anything more

This is her best interview with zach zang...
Wonderful words❤️
I feel like eventhough there were many times they have been mad and fight with each other (5h) the bond of this girls will always be there bcoz of how much they went through together... i also love the fact lauren says she cant blame anyone for how that person act at the time when they were hurt...
Love them so much! ❤️
She's amazing. Love u, Lauren
everything she just said is beautiful & powerful.
Omg I've never heard Lauren talk but she's SO FUNNY lol 😭 those snarky side comments make this so good 😂
