    It’s such a beautiful place. Really enjoyed watching the video. Went there four times in the 1970’s and the 1980’s, drove up to the monastery. Saw some monks, some goats and saw only two or three other tourists each time. The place was very quiet, which seemed appropriate. There was lots of bougaivillia - lovely. The first time I went, there were only about 2/3 hotels in Paleokastritsa. Very interesting to see the changes. Thank you. 😁

      Thanks for your comments. We were there when several school groups were visiting, so I think normally it would not have been as crowded.
      It is a charming place. We stayed in Dassia on the opposite side of Corfu, and drove over for the day.
