Im in a similar situation, already grown older with a job and kids, but still enjoying the game. Started not long ago with FaceIt and lurking soloqueue at level 5. Are you playing with shadows off ? Noticed at 19:45, there should be shadows on the ground, that helps you to see the enemy earlier or be aware of that they can see you. Or is it a Demothing, that there are no shadows maybe. Like your content, keep on

Oh! It’s Nice to see someone in a similar situation. Hope you are enjoying the process of learning just as much as I am, Jon.
I do have shadows on. Been using that to my advantage a couple of times recently:) Thank you so much for watching and your comment❤️

in 5:34 with you watching flank, I would recommend learning timing, you just spawned and rushed B main, in no world is a CT going to push that fast down to ur spawn. Even if they mid rush, your teammates would get contact on heaven your team coulda used you and your util to exec and push into, or even push cave, heaven ect. That round you had 0 impact, until near the end but you stil lost. overall tho, great video, learning from your mistakes. Have you thought about live streaming your games?

This is a great recap of that round. I felt bad for my team during that round and I totally Agree that i did not have any impact. I messed up to be honest. I habe definitely thought about live streaming, and it is something That’s coming when I feel ready for it!❤️thank you!

-- 3:45 : in mid, sometimes you have to try, but it would have been better to throw nades to keep the ct's eye on mid and wait for him to move as you said, or go back to B to help the team. There are 2 ct mid who could have been baited by your nades. Molotov or smoke with a flash works better. In any case, the aim is to reduce the number of ct on site at the time of the attack.
-- 11:20 : this round was well played on your part you quickly planted the bomb and threw nade for defense. it would have been safer to throw a smoke or molotov (or both xD) before planting but normally your teammate should have done it for you.
-- 18:26 : your crosshair wasn't so bad you had the height to headshot an enemy who would have jumped on the box you were just a little too far to the right xD.
I'm sure that talking in your videos or and hearing the team's voices/callouts when you edit a video would give your views a boost. Great video idea, I love it!

Thanks again for yet another great comment and insight, Louka.
      1. Utility usage in the situation you mention would be great. Need to keep this in mind. I have an initial thought that nades are meant for slowing things down. I did not think about it as a way of baiting!
      2. Thank you! I was satisified with the smoke actually. It gave good coverage and prevented the enemy from taking us head on! Will definitely use the smoke before I plant next time😂
      3. Haha! Thank you for the encouragement. I felt stupid during that Move by me! I still think that I Should have managed to get him though😂
And yes! I plan to talk more in the next video, and include the comms! Think that will be really nice!

in a lot of situations you seem under confident which is not bad because being caught off guard is stupid but realizing CS2 has a peekers advantage is important when you know for sure there's an enemy nearby like for example in the first couple of rounds on ancient you shift walked towards the guy hiding in mid and ended up dying so if you heard him and cleared most of the angles the next step would have been to not slowly get him in your crosshair because he isn't stupid either he's expecting you so jump in fast and take him out before he has a chance to say what

Great advice! I need to dive more into peekers advantage. I did not know he was Mid, but I had a feeling! Should have managed to Peek differently for sure. Under confident is spot on dude! I feel I have the skills That’s needed, but I dont believe in myself sometimes that make me uncertain and anxious in situations!

just play the map more, you probably have 500 matches on Mirage and Nuke because those are good maps, these new maps suck so you have to grind them to learn the intricacy and meta that everyone else just knows in the old maps from playing the old versions of those maps.
It's also a slower learning process in these new maps but I applaud you for learning them without any promise they will be permanent.

      Hey!
I think I need to do that! I tend to hope to play the "easier" maps, or at least the maps I know inside out! Will try my best to learn both Ancient and Anubis better moving forward!
