This sounds like a great fun tune to learn on a 7 string. I know the novelty elements of Baby Metal is what either makes or breaks them for most people, but they sure do have some catchy and heavy riffs.
Their most recent album that this song comes from has almost none of those gimmicky sounds or elements that initially blew them up. It’s basically a modern metalcore album minus harsh vocals.
Excellent cover, thanks!
Pink-chan looks and sounds incredible! 😁
🤘🦊
My dream guitar
Is that a Takayoshi Ohmura signature? Sounds good by the way
I’m honestly so happy and sad at the same time 😂 I’m happy you got such a beautiful guitar and that you’re enjoying it so much but this has always been my dream guitar and I wish I could afford it/go to Japan to buy one. One day!!!! Keep the Babymetal covers coming!! ❤
Takayoshi sig goes hard af 🔥
This was awesome! 👏 🔥🔥🔥
damnnnn Pink Chan 😢❤❤❤
Rippin it baena🤘
Sparkle finish never dissapoint, especially the pinky ones
this guitar is insanely beautiful!
thanks for the cover, love this song!
That thing rips
And this song reminds me of that devil driver song “I could care less”
best guitar for babymetal lmao
That guitar tone is amazing bro
Wow, if I didn't know this was Babymetal, I wouldn't believe it. They have come so far. This is an excellent cover, and sounds better to me than the original. The guitars especially.
Mr Baener. Questing for drum programming. When doing fills, how much humanisation do you add to them? They sound pretty consistent but just wanted to ask because they also sound great.
I don't do anything too crazy. I just select all the notes and set them to humanize at 20% lol. I know a lot of people go way more in depth than that but for the purposes of a RUclips video I have found that is more than enough
@@BaenaCarcosa cool. Thanks for the reply. Great video as always
BAEby Metal
Still in the honeymoon phase with the new guitar?
honestly so much better without the vocals!🔥🔥🔥🔥

Drop G#

See ya! I've been doing Babymetal covers for like 10 years now so this is nothing new for me lol.
yo dude , go away from here!
Andrew no need you in here !
Dude, would love to see you collab with Mauricio Weimar: www.youtube.com/@extreme_drums
Andrew, Edwards and Otto Audio 11 11 killin' it!!
Sounds sick bro all I need is the instrumental!!!
That sig reminds me of that meme where it’s like “Which guitar is more metal?” and there’s a hello kitty guitar
The GUITAR melody of that chorus is erotic😩
That's problematic, when the singers are supposed to represent preteen girls. 🫥
@@SamBrockmann I didn’t mean it like that wtf😭
@@SamBrockmann aren’t they in their 20s?
@@Kideem , well, here's the reality: Babymetal is not a good thing for our culture and even worse for metal in specific.
Babymetal's whole premise is presenting women who resemble preteens, who in fact were preteens at the beginning of their career, as attractive, sexual objects. Now, they're all women in their 20s now. But despite being in their 20s, they still try to look kawaii in every way. We, as a culture, have exploited these women. Yes, they chose this path, but we as a culture should not be supporting something that henious.
I am not sorry if it makes you uncomfortable. You should be uncomfortable with all of it.
@@creeperboom , and yet they still try to resemble preteens. That's gross. They were preteens when they started their career. That's also gross.
The Drob B on a 7-string is B F# B E G# C# E Play slipknot, please.
I've done tons of Slipknot vids before!
The song is good. The guitar sounds great.
The fact that it's a song written for a group that exploits teenage Japanese girls is a problem. Yes, I realize all the singers are now women in their 20s, but they definitely started out as girls barely out of primary school. Of course, what's going to happen when these women can no longer fake being young, cute preteens with makeup, clothes, and plastic surgery? Give it another 10 years, and either they grab a few preteens to replace the current singers, OR we have to stop pretending. A band formed on the basis of presenting cute preteen Japanese girls (and women who, as they grow, fake being that) is a problem for the culture as a whole and for metal in specific.
And the Gatekeeper of the year award goes to... YOU. Congrats! 🎉
Do you have any proof that they are being "exploited"?
In 2018, when one of the members left, the two other girls were asked by their management if they wanted to continue; they said yes. That was their choice. Doesn't seem very exploitative to me.
The three members of Perfume, a girl group from the same talent agency, are in their mid thirties. So age doesn't seem to be a factor for being "replaced".
Also, they stopped "acting cute" for their 4th album and that worked pretty well.
Also also, Babymetal's success helped grow the interest for metal music in Japan. I don't see how that's a "problem for metal".
@Egil29 , here is the definition of exploitation: "use or utilization, especially for profit". It has nothing to do with their consent. It has everything to do with the fact that the whole concept of the band is presenting "kawaii" "girls" and playing Slipknot-like songs underneath their cute vocals.
Note: exploitation in and of itself is not bad. The product, if you will, is what is bad, because it's unhealthy for the culture to place children in this position. (Yes, they are no longer children, but they were children when the band started.)
It doesn't matter if they "stopped acting cute" after 3 albums. Their brand is established. They are the **cute** metal band, even if they never again emphasize that.
Finally, Japan has always had an interest in metal. They didn't need Babymetal to promote metal there. Several metal bands that never did as well in the USA or the UK were massively successful in Japan.
You are such a weirdo
