This girl who has been doing this for around 3 years rivals the likes of Terry Fator, Paul Zerdin and others. Here is the story I have heard: she started singing at age 6, she entered into some talent competitions and saw ventriloquism there, her mom gave her a puppet for her 10th birthday, she took to it like a duck to water and she's been doing it ever since.
She is about a month from her 13th birthday so she has only been doing this for about 3 years. The two other entertainers above has both been into their craft for 20+ years and yet I say she has skills that show she's in the same league. Amazing!!!
I'd rate her 10 times 10 times 10 times 10!!!!!

it is impossible to give a number to any of Darci Lynne's performance's cause they are just absolutely amazing. with a young woman with that much talent the art of being an ventriloquist will not be lost. like Simon said great acts are here and he said she has already surpassed great acts. Definite 10 on that performance. Talent wise, that was her best performance to date. All those "m"s in that song make it very difficult for a ventriloquist. Probably the hardest letter to carry in speech.

I give this performance a 9.9 but that's using the scale you would use to evaluate a seasoned professional not a 12 year old rookie. Some minor nit picks in the transition between her voice and the puppet's voice when speaking keep it from being a 10. She's as good or better than artists 3 or 4 times her age who have been performing and touring for decades like Jeff Dunham, and will only get better. She's amazing.

I don't believe she is talented. Oh look at her she can stick her hand into a puppet and talk/ sing with her mouth closed. I thought about how hard it would be and I tried it myself and it honestly was not hard at all, anyone can do this. How is this creative? She is not the first person to talk with her mouth closed and put her hand in a puppet. If you did not know she was on americas got talent/ who she was and saw a sign that said "tickets available to see ventriloquist" would you actually buy the ticket? I know I wouldn't! I would much rather pay my money to see other acts on this show with originality, creativeness, and appeal.
