Always love the mod videos! I love knowing that DAI mods are still being appreciated and it makes me excited to play DAI
Ok I am obsessed with those braids, about to replay DAI after replaying the first 2 for the billionth time, really exciting to hear the mod community is still growing and producing new stuff

Another great video FTG. I think I've figured out why I like your videos so much.
When FTG plays a game, she's into it. Interacting with it, bouncing between being the main character and reacting to her companions and other NPCs. She's immersed into the story.
From what I've seen, this is unique. Others do playthroughs but they react to events. Like close deaths or beating a boss, or explaining how to get through a hard spot.
All is good, but FTG brings the story to you. I find it relaxing and fun. She's managed to get me to reinstall ME-A and now this with her mod picks.
FTG deserves way more subscribers imo.

Have you thought about updating your mod list for DAI to maybe include frosty mods or changes you've made if any? I'm planning on doing a playthrough and was wondering if I should go off of your 2020 list or see if you might create a 2021 list. Loving the DAI content btw!
If I was going to add frosty mods in these would totally be the ones! Ri’s story is so close to done that I’m not gonna rock the boat too much on it but if I ever do another run it’ll probably be a healthy mix of the two - however I dno if/when I’ll be posting that list!
I use Dialogue Wheel overhaul mod, together with the No More Para phrasing mod. Perfect combination especially if you play for the first time. Spares you the reloading in most cases if you’re not happy with any outcomes 😊

Which ever version you need is best! Custom hair patch is I believe a specific version of the mod so if you don't need that start with simple and go from there!

If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated! I tried to set up the Enhanced character creation mod but it says it only works on the “alpha” version of frosty. And for some reason I cant get the alpha version of frosty to work at all! Would you be willing to do a tutorial on the alpha version of frosty?
Are you able to get Enhanced Character Creator to work with Unlock Specializations? You recommended that one in another video I think, but they are in conflict in my game.
I haven’t had an issue with them working together in the past!

As far as I know there isn't!
When I download the Black Emporium dlc and run it as an origin, the Black Emporium appears on the war table, but when I turn on Frosty Mode Manager, the Black Emporium does not appear on the war table. I deleted all the mods because I thought there was a mode conflict, and after installing it again, I didn't apply any mods, even Korean patches, and I played the game with the mod manager, but Black Emporium didn't apply.I've been suffering from this for days. Is there a way?
I'm sorry to nag you again, your videos explain things so well, I'm having a lot of trouble with the misc hairstyles (not showing up outside of character creation), and I've tried troubleshooting. Would you make a video related to installing it?
The only thing I can think of is that you don't have your meshes set to ultra as that's usually the cause of that issue. Otherwise there's honestly no special installation instructions for it as I install it just like I showed in my vid!

Any recommendations for female complexion mods? Specifically for an elf or human? I’m currently using Kitten’s Inquisitor Complexions but I’ve had multiple instances where my inquisitors face turns purple and buggy. It happened in Redcliffe’s tavern and chantry, in the fade, and on Cass’s quest so far. I’m not sure how to fix it or why it does this. Any help would be appreciated!
This video REALLY makes me want to use Frosty again but using it with DAIMods just gives me so much anxiety. I'm always not sure if what I'm doing is right or wrong, especially when it comes to switching out mods in DAIMod then having to deal with the files in Frosty.
TLDR: I love the mods suggested but using Frosty with DAIMods gives me anxiety.
Preach! Like I really love the body mods in DAIMods and the finery recolors, but I would love to use some of the hair mods for frosty and the dress edits. I am nearly done with my playthrough so I don't want to corrupt any files.
I've taken like 5 years to get this far and I don't want to lose out right before I hit up the DLCs and the end of the game. I've taken like multiple year long breaks (due to computer issues) so I am not even done with my first playthrough (800+ hours overall and 350+ in game)
@@kraziiXIII That's very understandable in that case. I've watched her video on how to use Frosty and DAIMod together but even that is a little confusing because it doesn't say straightforward what to do, especially if u changed some mods around.
Do you have links to the armor mods you have on? I'm having such a hard time locating ones for Frosty.
There are a ton on Nexus! Most of the new armours are frosty only! Some modders to check out: KittenTails, CaffeinePainter, ShepShy, iHuntAlone, and Alfredia just to name a few!
Hey there! I've seen in your other mod video that you have probably a mod where you don't have to pick up iron and stuff so long. You just run by and pick it up. How is that mod calling? Can't find it on nexus, perhaps I just jumped over it bc there are a lot of fantastic mods there.

Character is so cute, is there a way for you to share the sliders? >_ < I love elfs, but I cant seem to make cute ones like that, but again i dont use many mods at all, neither hairs. Im gona try the enhanced character creator i guess. Id be nice if i could get the sliders for the face >_ < Mostly just chin and jaw and eyes. the rest I usualy costumise it myself

Anyone know if there are any good toggle DoT mods like blizzard?
Or any eternal poison or curse mods? I like to play single player and the difficulty vs exp return is obscene.
I would like to load enemies with DoTs and watch their health rot over time or at least toggles with mana.
Anyone with any info or any modders that could create something like what I'm looking for I would be eternally grateful 😬👍🏻
I am just starting up another playthrough and haven't added mods in years. When I go to install this mod it has a drop down of about 8 other packs that are 'required', and those have 7-20 each insides of them as well. So for clarification, in order to get this mod does it sound right that there would be 60-80 prerequisites ?
When looking at the "required" section some are mods that *require* the mod you're looking at and others are what the mod requires so maybe you're seeing a mix? To be honest most DAI mods don't have dependencies unless you're using a character preset in which case having a handful of required mods would make sense to get the look. But none of the mods in this list (or any of my lists) would require you to have an additional 60 installed to get it to work!
@@FoodThenGames Okay thank you. I was looking mainly at "Enhanced character creation". On Nexus when I go to download it, a list of 7-8 things saying "Additional files required" and they range from music, to your character staying still. The music one for instance is the first on the required list and it has 21 installs inside of it which lead me to think I would need all 21 of them, along with whatever is in the other 6-7 'required files'.
Ah I see. I just check ECC and those are all suggested mods not hard requirements as all the notes for them say suggested!
@@FoodThenGames As it stands I never actually was able to figure everything out XD I (as far as I know) have everything set to go, but when I load up the game there's no additional options. Thank you for the video though, it's really nice to see the game in higher quality customization.
@@FoodThenGames Basically as far as I got was frosty getting perpetually stuck at "Launching: waiting for DragonAgeInquisition.
Is dai manager still needed or do most people just use frosty now

do those hair mods work for male characters as well? when i tried them with my male character they didnt work
I believe they have male hairs -- but hair for DAI is Race/Gender specific so you have to make sure you're downloading the correct mod for the correct race + gender you want to play as!
seeing it now, DAi really couldve gave us more hair

Can someone help me? Everything works perfectly, I put character creation mods. at the time of customization, the mods appear normally, they also appear in the cutscenes, but in the game the mods do not appear. What do I need to do?
Set your Meshes to ultra!

This is driving me mental if anyone can help... I installed the Misc Hairstyles mod, followed all these slider options to make my face correctly, then finally got to the hairstyles and I can't see it in CC... Does anyone know which preset it overwrites by default for EF so I can just pick that one?
Each hair style will override a specific one so you’d need to know which one it’ll change. There isn’t a default one that’ll override! Also make sure your meshes are set to ultra as that can cause hair not to show!

Could you let me see your load order for Frosty mods? I cannot get any hair to show that I put in Frosty. Enhanced Character Creation doesn't work either. I've spent all day on it and I'm tired. I'm about to go back to DAI. Thanks!
Unfortunatley I can't as I don't have this mod list together anymore -- If the hair itself won't show I'd suggest trying it first without Enhanced CC, and making sure your meshes are on ultra and that it's for the correct race/gender/hair style! Also I'm not sure if you're installing with .dai mods but if you are make sure you've done the patch folder switching!
Also -- if you had .dai mods installed before, you might still have the mergedpatchfolder still in the folder with your patch folder, I'd try deleting or moving it to see if that fixes it!
@@FoodThenGames Thank you for your quick reply. So I have to completely uninstall all my DAI stuff to use the Frosty Mod? And what is the patch folder? I have a community patch. I really feel dumb.
Nope you can make them play nicely together it just requires a few extra steps! I have a separate video on how to mod them together that should solve your problem!

it seems that the hair mods are for female characters mostly ....
I love love love the braids you're using and I can't for the life of me figure out why they insist on giving me an infinite load screen before I even get to the menu! I've made sure meshes are set to ultra, and I know for sure it isn't conflicting with mods because I've tried it on its own :( I know this video is sort of old now but if anyone has any insight pls let me know!!!
If you haven't yet you could check out my frosty modding guide to see if there's a step that got messed up in there? Also, honestly frosty mods can be very buggy so it might be a walk away for a day or so and try again and it'll work situation (I literally had that happen once 😂).

yes, in your game settings - you should have an option for meshes, make sure they're set to ultra.

This is the best game I've ever played....but...u can't adjust ur body..
Enhanced Character Creation has SO MANY other required mods, as do a lot of these. You need to download so many other mods to get it to work. Very misleading
Back when this vid was made in 2020 it didn't have all the requirements, but with Frosty and EA App and some other changes have come new requirements. So it's not that it's misleading so much as just an old vid! You can of course always try your hand at the older versions or even the .dai version if you'd prefer!
Hairstyle Day DAI has been set to "hidden" and is now inaccessible.

Time to try the now abandoned .DAI
EDIT: Frosty Fix fixed some of the mods, increased inventory slot didn't work though
