I just love the thought of some day, a piece of the dragon chips off of like the neck or something and someone realizes there is a whole friggin' giraffe under all that.

I just imagined it like the end of the surgery and the giraffe wakes up on the hospital bed, with Ace of Clay standing next to them. Being like. AOC(Ace of Clay): You've finally woken up. G(Giraffe): Did the surgery go well? AOC: Yes indeed, you are finally... *shows the Giraffe a mirror* a dragon. G: I came here to my plastic cleaned!?! WHAT THE HELL!?! AOC: Oops wrong patientヽ(´ー`)┌
A giraffe had thought life was a bore, Until he found a lamp within a mountain's core. He wept and cried, Said he wanted to fly And now he races and soars.
Alma Belle I LIKE THIS SORT OF POEM THING I’M MAKING ROLE WITH IT. (Also sorry for the caps but yes I like this so role with it or just certainly stay quite and forever hold you’re peace. I also don’t watch Tangled, I see no need to and i’m old enough to not like Tangled or some Disney movies, I like The Black Cauldron cause it’s the first Disney Movie to be rated PG, and it had kids stay awake for days not sleeping and had them traumatised! Haha, suckers.
Oh my god, it's beautiful! Only thing I would've done differently is make the rock a lava rock, because he looks like a very fiery dragon to me, but that's just personal preference.
Awesome transfer!! The eyes are a little odd, I would have added small eyelids to break them up and blend them into the head.. but all an all great sculpt for sure. Keep up the good work!!
That came out really nice! I would have done a dark blue/black color for the dragon maybe with some shades of shiny purple though. Well that is if I didn't decide to just keep the giraffe because he was too cute. ;) I love this idea though because it looks like a nicer armature to work with vs. a ton of foil. :D - Heidi
Matt Brown same! His duck/angler fish video showed up in my recommended and it made me want to get into clay. I’ve done a few wire sculptures and foam carvings, but I’ve never taken the time to try out polymer clay, so I think it would be fun to try a challenge like this!
Matt Brown I wouldn’t say it’d be easy, but you could definitely play around with it and watch some tutorials to make the learning process easier. I would recommend starting with simple shapes and textures to familiarize yourself with the material
5: 37 I.... I CAN'T BREATHE!!! from the one or two sculpts I've done and watching 2 or 3 vids, the major technique I see that works really well is simply create your shape OFF the sculpture then adding it TO the sculpture. I have one small problem ok....... WHY IS IT THAT THIS MAN CAN MAKE A WHOLE DRAGON AND PAINT IT AND NOT MAKE A WHOLE MESS BUT I CAN BARELY KEEP NAIL POLISH OFF MY FINGERS?! Anyways I really liked this video and honestly this is the first time I’ve subbed after seeing just one video. Keep up the good work😂❤️
because he's painting the whole dragon... not the dragon's nails... there's a huge difference when painting a whole creature and a fingernail... just get the liquid latex thing that people usually get when they find out it's a thing and they suck at painting straight or are incapable of correcting their mistakes as soon as they make them. No, shakey hands are not an excuse, I'm an artist and no human being lacks shakey hands, the difference between a shakey hand and a steady hand is that a steady hand uses the shaking as an advantage.
How do you get to carnegie hall? Practice, practice and practice. He had A LOT of it. Fingernail polish has a technique. Swipe down the center, then swipe the sides of that center swipe. I had the problem too and figured out I was slathering it on too thick instead of multiple coats.
