    In conversation with Black Ottawa Scene, the former Liberian envoy and father to Fred Sherman II, a famous policy and communication advisor and community advocate in Ottawa, shares the story of his early years in Liberia and the unique and significant experience of his tenure, explaining how he got the opportunity to serve Liberians in Canada.
    Elder Sherman also shared his invaluable perspective about transitioning from his diplomatic assignment to becoming a Canadian citizen and how it impacted his career path and family.
