I used the left controller to play right handed before i bought an DriVR. It just felt more natural to hold the controller with my forward hand. I also use a small mat that is roughly the width of my stance. I can feel the edges with my feet and i think it helps keep me square to the ball. Still suck tho lol
Thanks for making this video. I was looking for info on the swing analysis feature and was hoping it would show the swing arc like some iPhone apps do. I’m new to golf and was wanting to see this data in the game/sim. Do you think playing golf + using an attachment could help a new golfer with 0 experience and watching RUclips tutorials for lessons build a foundation for real life golf. I’ve been using lessons on RUclips and no attachment and seem to be hitting ok straight. Just wondering if now I’m learning bad habits. 😂 Again, thanks for making a video about this feature. Cheers 🍺.
There is actually a new app for the quest in early access called swing genius. I got it (free) two days ago. Steep learning curve, very nerdy tech right now but will literally record your swing and help you work to change/improve it. Great concept but needs to get user friendly and easier to use like preloaded swings to modify.
I'm considering getting a Metaquest 3 with a DeadEye attachement to improve my game and have fun playing. but I'm wondering, how realistic is it when it comes to swing data? Does it provide precision like a launch monitor? How about thinned / fatted shots? Thanks a lot for the content, it's really interesting
A huge thanks my brother! Was wondering if I was the only one slicing the h$ll out of it! This makes a lot of sense gonna give it a try.

Open stance on long irons all the time helped me with this. I still suck tho.
Is there a reason you chose to use your left controller? Also what adapter do you use?
@teddybearasaurus right controller is broken and I use the old school drivr attachment

@Like_A_Hamburger_Bun it will give you a taste of real golf but wouldn't rely on the game to teach you everything about golf.

No feedback for thinned or fatted. I think what is good with the Quest and DeadEye is swing path and face angle.
Do you always use the left controller? If so, any reason for it?
No. Had issues with my right controller so had to switch to my left controller. It's a weird adjustment.
@@topherjaims okay. We're all out here chasing you. Thought maybe you had a secret. 😂
After all the manipulations you have to make to play this game good luck with your real game.
