fairly new to the game, and im kinda collector so my BPO collection keep growing rapidly. i started as usual out with missile production, then expanded to drones. meaning i got all missile and drone bpos in the game, not including fighters. then i started with t1 and t2 ship production, so i have BPOs for all normal friggs, destroyers and cruisers. meaning i allso have all BPOs for advanced components, and reaction BPOs needed to build those components. thought at some point i might wanna dip into rig production aswell, and they arent really that expencive, so figured i get all bpos for small, medium and large rigs in game aswell., not to mention i have a bunch of bpos for random ship modules i at some point found usefull, like some shield extenders, armor reps, and other stuff people use in their ships. next on list are getting all battle cruiser BPOs, but they are usually around 550-600 mill each, so getting significantly more expencive then the smaller ships. can currently build about 30x t2 friggs a day on average, and they sell quite well, so not sure if im gonna bother building the bigger ships anytime soon. btw really like your videos, for a beginner in industry, they are really helpfull:)

Saw my name in the chat channel and kept trying to scroll the list...
Anyway, solid advice as always. I started out small as well and now have a scary number of BPOs. Pretty much enough different things to always be able to make money when I dip back into manufacturing/T2 research and production. It is nice to have several different options for game-play, especially as I spend a fair bit of time where the internet is not reliable enough to undock.

First! Also, buying BPOs has become an expensive habit for me. Feels like Pokémon... Gotta catch them all.

starting id say if you use it you cant really go wrong building it your self and from there buying things you can turn a modest profit on
when starting training your blue prints to 9-10 on mineral is a must also watch how long and how much does it cost to train there is some vast differences there are some BPOs that cost 100 mil isk but even in a 2.5 index can easily cost 700+ mil to train out and others that training is measured in many months
But my best advice is if you plan to be a builder you cant build it if you dont have the bpo bpc bpi on stock and in a market run sometimes its better to do many short runs to be fast

What really hurts you is the "reasonable" bid prices at region range. What I would do is have region orders at low prices for all the components and main product, at all times. Including one that is 1/1000 of the normal price, which by the way will also help in null. Every so often you will get someone to sell what you need, cheap. Whether on accident or they are liquidating and not looking.
Even if you don't go around hauling the buys on a regular basis, you will start accumulating supplies in the entire region. In a pinch, like you run into here, you will have another option likely available to you.
For the newer player, I would consider making ships, equipment, and ammo in "pairs" for lack of a better word. For example... catalysts and stuff for common fits, plus whatever the most popular barge in that system. Can do any strategy, but have some overall strategy versus random items. You might just be able to... affect local supply :)
Also, working out agreements with other players to sell in the future upon completion at a set price. Like a futures contract.

Very helpful video. Is industry basically crafting, then putting your crafted items on the market and just waiting for things to sell? Right now I feel like I'm producing things but then the items sit on the market for several weeks. How do you have 11 manufacturing jobs running?

Do you guys go for 10/20 or 10/18 (of the more expensive ones)? I mean mostly they are only about 10% cheaper but i feel like it takes forever to recoop that or i just buy a second one, and does the 2% time rly matter?

I've expected all prices for parts to go up so I've stocked up to build couple of tech 2 but decided to pass on this BPO since I'll need weeks to even use it and ccp kinda shit on everything by pushing patch immediately without seeding skill books and blueprints.
