Wash any synthetic hair in fabric softener and silicon mix with hot water and it will stop tangles and shedding for good

You did such a great job! I got a blond wig and it's just not the right shade. I wanted something like Henna for it, I think I can get that with your method! I have so many synthetic wigs that are not the right colors for me and I'm gonna try this except being a redhead for myself I will definitely add some brown into it to defuse the red I just need a little red tint to the light brunette so it compliments my skin tone❤

Thank you💕 If you wanted to bleach hair that was dyed black from the factory it wouldn’t work unfortunately😭 but if you did this rit method and wanted to remove the colour I heard that using regular laundry bleach removes the colour. I hope this helps.

I’ve seen some girls use sharpie and make up to darken the roots. Type in darken synthetic wig roots and a few videos come up and you can see which method you prefer.

Ever use synthetic wig conditioning spray? It works really well on the tangles. Also using a wide tooth comb instead of a brush on plastic hair is better. A brush tends to stretch the plastic.

Two bottles of the orange and a few splashes of the black, I explain the exact amounts around 9:25 ish
Did the curl pattern stay in the hair after this process because I’m trying to do French curl micro braids and I would like the pattern to still be there if I boil it and dye it

@@PhyllisBanks So after wearing it a while after coloring it and doing the fabric softener on it and everything after wearing it for a while do you shampoo and condition with regular shampoo conditioner
@@rajini1124 with this wig I didn’t wear it long so I didn’t need to wash it but if you wanna wash it you can use laundry detergent as shampoo and fabric softener as conditioner because these are synthetic fibres.
where can you find the synthetic fiber dye
Any craft store, some grocery stores have it too. I got mine from Michaels.

I didn’t wear the wig a lot and I also only wear black so I’m not sure. I would just advise to rinse the hair till it runs clear and you might not have issues with bleeding.

I did not, I actually forgot about the salt 😭
@@PhyllisBanks and the vinegar. 😊 I think one is for cotton and one for polyester which would be the wig. 🤔 I just use both to be safe.

Yes it has to be synthetic dye otherwise it won’t work, butttt if you go on the rit website they have a colour mixing chart, it shows what dyes to mix to achieve the colour you want

You can’t bleach dark synthetic wigs, unfortunately the colour won’t lift. However I’ve heard that it you dye a wig using this method then it can be bleached after to remove the colour. I can make a video about it 💕

I didn’t try to remove the orange from the lace because I thought it wouldn’t work, I just put make up on the closure to hide it 💕

For tangling there’s not much you can do besides spraying water & fabric softener on the parts that tend to tangle. Trimming the ends every once in a while can also help 😁🥰

It has a weird chemical smell but it doesn’t smell like hair dye

No😭 but if it helps, it comes in the basic plastic packaging and includes a wig cap
