They won't because it wasn't an exploit per se. Maybe they will put some kind of soft cap that will bring down those stats to "reasonable" level, but resetting it is kinda unfair.

I love that they patch this meanwhile theres a quest that is required for one of the new cosmetics thats bugged and has been bugged for 10 years and completely stalls your progress and I bet they still haven't bothered to patch that. Modern blizzard games feels like you are having fun in spite of the devs not because of them, if they are even fun in the first place.

Scaling is completely busted in Remix, mostly because it shares the same busted scaling in Retail: Where the lower level you are, the more powerful you are. So the power curve is you're the most powerful at level 10 going down to 60ish where it then falls into a pit where your character is made out of paper until you can grind out your gear so you can actually become more powerful than you were at 10.
God I hated that, killing stuff at level 10, and coming back at level 60 and just feeling weaker and struggling as the time to kill kept going up. Completely ruined the sense of progression.
They use the same system in D4, why it feels so incredibly bad to level.
Someone at Blizzard clearly thinks that getting weaker at every lvl up in an RPG is somehow a good game design

@@deenman23 You have proved their point. "With better gear". They fucked up the gear at the start and you rarely find upgrades at higher levels, which meant the mobs quickly out scaled you as XP came faster than good gear did. This meant you feel weaker at higher levels until you find that new piece of gear to boost you up. This is why leveling feels kinda good at the start in D4 but becomes a fucking slog as you hit lvl 40+ as the scaling on mobs goes up in a straight line, but your gear upgrades begin to fall off. This wasn't helped by the fact that they nerfed almost all damage on like the second to third patch in the game to try to "balance" damage across the board. They seemed to have learned from this mistake and made changes, but they are REPEATING it in WoW. This is why people ask the question "Do they play their own games?" They seem to keep making the same mistakes that regular QA testing might show them.
They'll go out of their way to nerf the Frog Stomp on a weekend.... but the "To The Skies" scenario bug still exists, preventing folks from completing the Isle of Thunder campaign -- which unlocks the Class Ensemble weapon appearances for bronze purchase.

I found a way around the bug.
When you find yourself in the camp, run to the western walls of Throne of Thunder and the action button that allows you to jump on the birds appears again
you can finish the scenario if you have enough dps to kill the 6 birds before you pass the walls
You don’t need to do the campaign to unlock the weapon. Read the achievement you need a bit more carefully
Not sure if it helps (I dunno what other classes are capable of), but I was able to finagle my tinker slots around and used enough CDs to burst the adds and get past that quest as a feral druid, primarily using the 50% crit after hitting a stunned enemy and relying on fear procs from one of my tinkers, and my talented stuns and racial stun (tauren).
Had a few seconds to spare too, but it was all a dice roll. Took about 11 tries before the RNG lined up to get me past that wall.
I did it with 2 chars already, there is a time window to kill the mobs because of the bug. You need to kill the mobs really fast. Worked for me both times.

Just in case anyone isn't aware: No, you are not meant to be solo'ing these raids. This is not the level scaled out of whack regular old content, this is supposed to be tuned to perfectly level scaled fresh characters only playing in MOP.

As an SPriest loyalist, "emo White Mage" is fucking perfection and I don't think it'll ever be topped.
Thats just not true... They said in an interview with I think it was Anniefuschia? (Not 100% on that) But the devs were asked what the scaling would be like and if it would be possible to solo raids. They responded by saying they didnt design it with the intention of that being possible but they're excited to see what some players manage to do with all the new toys and theyre looking forward to seeing what people achieve.
The cloak was designed to infinitely scale, you ARE supposed to be able to solo the raids during MoP remix, just not this early on.

I've lost all motivation to play MoP Remix. I didn't do the frog spawn and now groups are only inviting people that have a certain cloak level or higher.
of course they are, thats why I hate the wow playerbase with a passion, people saying theres no io or ways to gatekeep, and I knew it was only a matter of time before players found a way to.
My guess is they will cap the cloak in instances at a level for people who play all day but didn't frog it up and then increase the cap every day.

I submitted a ticket for the quest line and they copy and pasted a response about loot and how they cannot interfere with loot tables... but it was a kill quest - mob sits on a hill and continuously evades.... they don't read tickets either, clearly.
You are scamming yourself if you are still paying to play this game. I quit back Warlord and never looked back. Playerbase is full of elitlist players that will gatekeep content for only those who have cheated like him or already beated the content long time before you. Asking for achtivements for flex mode was the norm on my server and I could rarely find any groupe who did not.

I tried some fun stuff with my own, just to see what i could do... and there was pretty mucn no limit.
I made it all class all Race, and i had heriloom gears easy to get from a vendor, but the heirloom gear was changed on appearance to the best looking gears.
And i made cloaks that made you take on different apperances from bosses... like the warlock boss in Black temple has a cool skin.. so could be him....
And much much more... and it was super easy.... so when blizzard say " it is hard to do".. they are lying.

This same type of shit happened at the beginning of SoD p3. A small group of people made enormous amounts of gold, then they nerfed it. Then a smaller group of people abused a new trinket to get super-rare epic drops, then they nerfed that. They did NOTHING to the exploiters, let them keep their gold and items, and the AH immediately became so overpriced for the vast majority that no one wanted to even bother playing. You either let everyone have the same advantage, or you take shit back. This letting a select few screw everything up for everyone else is why I'll never be back. Oh yeah, plus the DEI bullshit on every single team.

I remember hearing before remix was released that top level people "could" solo even mythic raids( due to the uncapped cloak) , looks like that turned out to be true
Yeah, people eventually soloing raids was intentional. But, they weren't meant to do that within the first few days of Remix because they found an infinitely respawning enemy that they could just farm to buff their cloak out the wazoo with almost zero effort.

That, and the fact they did already nerf the frogs, maybe they played through Timeless Isle so many times after that, that they forgot the frogs were originally dropping loot after they got nerfed to not drop stuff and so they forgot that the original code of Pandaria had them dropping loot and so they release Remix and the frogs drop loot again because of an oversight. It can happen.

In Guild Wars 2 there's the extremely hard title you can earn,
"God Walking Amongst Mere Mortals" that describes this perfectly.
The only bad thing about removing the frog farm is that now the people who didn’t exploit it are punished because they won’t be able to keep up with the people who did exploit it, and will be kicked from groups or just not invited entirely. And have no way of catching up stat wise. And the goat farm and dal farm are not nearly as efficient as the frog farm was. So the amount of time necessary to grind those is exponentially longer than the frog farm.

Meanwhile: the Cosmetic Ensembles for Wandering Isle Quest Armor in both Leather and Plate varieties are unable to be collected and unlocked for us (save for the yellow/purple Plate set).
What's funny is I watched the interview about WoW Remix and they said everyone streaming and playing said that the drop rate of Bronze was perfect yet every person and streamer I watch said it had a horrible drop rate and either needed buffed significantly or the prices halved. These WoW Devs are all full of shit if they think the Bronze drops are in a good state.
Also, Speed on the cloak? Really? Remove the speed and add %increase to Bronze gain or something relevant, ffs.
They thought incursions were a good idea in SOD too and it drove masses of people to unsub.

Be great data on popular playstyles where it's not restrained by balakce and the activities people prefer.

Only took em a day after this vid was released to massively buff thread drops from end of queued content rewards, dailies, rares, and world bosses.
I remember fighting Asmon and McConnell on timeless Isle they was in a group and i was solo on my mm hunter camouflage was so broken back then, good times.

At one point in history it felt like WoW had a monopoly on Western MMOs and couldnt be touched...now it feels like Blizzard doesnt have a single IP they dont fumble somehow
The worst thing is, WoW had plenty of competitors for plenty of different kinds of gamers... but the suits in those competitors saw the WoW numbers and butchered their own product to make it more like WoW, basically handing the trophy to WoW on a silver platter.
@@LuaanTi Believe me I know. The only reason I had originally started playing WoW way back when was because I knew someone who was an MMO addict growing up. They introduced me to WoW and gave me their spare account. They were paying for 2 accounts monthly just so they could have constantly have someone to play with, but the last person decided to stop playing, so then he gave it to me instead. And when I say he was an MMO addict, I mean it. He played practically nothing but MMOs. He knew about all the MMOs current and upcoming, and tried them all. He was super hype about a lot of them, but they all eventually failed or he fail out of favor with them and always returned back to WoW. Blizzard eliminated a lot of good, diverse competition, only to destroy what made them so great themselves.

I love FF14. Whenever i can't sleep, i reactivate my account. It never fails to put me asleep in less then 1 hour.

Well if you are Horde player there is an alternative.
Dalaran purge quest in Landfall campaign. In the sewers there are plethora of Silver covenant high elves that die fast and respawn even faster. You can do it solo as there are Sunreaver npcs that help you or in a group. The effect is the same if not faster.

So my problem right now playing it, im currently level 60 on my death knight, just casually questing through all the zones, whatever its fun and im enjoying myself. But everytime i gain a level, my character gets noticeably weaker, and mobs get noticeable stronger, and at the current rate you gain stats on your cloak, it would take ages to get to a feel good spot at 70 where you can doing heroic raids and what not. Blizz needs to add an end game way of getting stronger other then just running normal dungeons, because that takes forever with very little rewards. The frogs were filling in that end game progression role but now its gone with no replacement in sight
Side note: I've done nearly most of the quests in pandaria and am sitting at 44,000 bronze, I've also been scrapping all the gear I've gotten along the way, to my understanding , in order to be able to buy all the rewards, you will need 1.5million bronze, I don't even see how that's obtainable at this point unless they add weekly or daily quests that reward a ton of bronze
@@Convescation once u get lvl 70, get 346 gear ( its the max ) and upgrade it. eventually u get so strong u delete dungeons and raids. normal raids give around 10k bronze and HC around 30k. my guild is aroudn 350s ilvl and we are killing normal bosses in less than 1 minute.

I've played since 2007 and I didn't even know about the infinite Frog glitch. Guess I didn't pay attention back in MoP.
It’s not a glitch, the game is responding to massively fast kill times by increasing spawn rate.
The exploit was that they dropped an item that was worth a lot of item upgrade currency, item upgrades are also uncapped.
That's kinda like if playing classic and someone would come to the raid with their maxlevel character from retail and just solo everything. Great balance as always by Blizzard.

Because it highlights one of Blizzard's biggest failures as game designers. They incentivize abusing bugs and mechanics early, and then nerf whatever gets exploited to the point that everyone else will never catch up.
It completely ruins the entire concept of an enjoyable MMO.

This reminds me of the Destiny 2 crafted weapon glitch a while back where players managed to "merge" two types of weapons together to create Grenade Launchers that shot 6-8 grenades at once effectively nuking bosses 7 times faster.

Ok so like I’m pretty new to wow and I’ve never played MoP if this is the scaling you get how is nerfing certain insane farms a bad thing? It sounds to me like they made the best place to farm by a long shot in line with everything else, how is this bad? The only thing remix made me do is reinstall the old Pandaria private server I used to play.
I cancelled my sub yesterday, the delay for the next SOD phase after the already really BAD current phase & the lack of care from blizz (9 devs for all these classic relaunches) just goes to show they're taking us for a ride & don't care about their customers at all
