It was assumed he had permanently left the company. Now he's back as "Executive Producer".
it was an indirect apology and honestly he should be apologizing for the way yg artists have been managed for the past years. they’re responsible for the lack of popularity and growth their artists besides bp currently have bc they rely on outdated marketing & promotions. this whole exclusivity thing, barely giving them comebacks & not letting them interact with groups outside the company doesn’t work anymore nowadays, the competition is too big, ppl will just move to other groups if they don’t get music and they are, which is sad

The fans deserved that apology, especially since it was the fandom who supported the boys when an executive producer should have been fulfilling his role. I doubt he feels guilty at all for the way his groups are handled. But if he is, I hope for bigger and better changes.
