Is there a word (other than "people who've watched Agent Carter" and "people who used to like Marvel and now hate it") for people who love both Steve and Peggy and their dynamic but who also fucking hated Endgame and thought that ending was objectively bad, lazy storytelling? Just curious.
This is a remake of a video I did ages ago (might be one of my first on here, actually) so much like the rest of this channel, it's just pure nostalgia. I should probably stop coming back to the same comfort characters after all these years lol but hey, at least my editing has (hopefully) progressed somewhat.

reads description. Gasps. “I thought I was the only one”
In all seriousness though, yeah. it feels cosmically unjust that agent Carter got cancelled but now half a dozen different significantly worse projects get to green lit every year. And while I wouldn’t go so far to say that I HATE endgame, it totally did a disservice/some amount of damage to every main avenger except for Natasha and Clint. What happened to “I’m with you till the end of the line” STEVE!? I suppose that he go back and make a movie about the time travel shenanigans that ensue from trying to return the stones that clears up both the character and plot issues with the ending, But with their current track record I doubt they’d pull it off well.
Oh well, this edit is really nice and definitely had me feeling all those nostalgic feelings. Very nice job.

I will defend Endgame's ending as perfect in my eyes even with everything Peggy went through in agent carter and all of Steve's growth as a person from WS to EG. Yes both of them grew and and developed as people and learned to live in their respective situations, but they did so because they had to. Once the option of something like time travel exists, it becomes so much more appealing to choose to go back to your comfort zone, especially if you've done so much to feel like you've earned it.
I see it as a very real part of human nature. I could grow from grief, from the loss of a loved one, have my character developed in light of traumatic events and sure I might come out of it better, but if ever presented with a supernatural option to go back in time or bring someone back, Im sure many of us would find the option very appealing.
