I love Laini Taylor! Her style is so unique. I thought the description of Strange the Dreamer was boring and didn't think I'd like it. But it was really beautiful and hit all the right notes for a YA fantasy romance. Muse of Nightmares was a great follow-up.

For any of the random books you have, you could do a “blind book” lucky dip - Jack edwards did a great video reviewing a blind book purchase. Might be an idea to shift any good quality fandoms you have :)
I haven't finished Laini Taylor's first series yet but I have read the duet cause I didn't realise about the first series lol anyway the duet is amazing I listened to them on audible and I think that you don't necessarily need to read 1 to read the other but I think there are small easter eggs if you read the first series first also there's a novella called A night of cake and puppets I believe which is a novella for side characters of Daughter of Smoke and Bone if you end up enjoying it. They are YA but the worlds and writing style are so magical and whimsical so please don't write it of too soon ❤️ I think I'm going to have to reread the series now 😂
The Bride Stripped Bare was my fifty shades of Grey. The Bride is about an affair and with my Body is about an affair she had in the past. You can read those two as stand alones.

The Daughter of Smoke and Bone Trilogy is great, one of my faves. It's a YA series and you're right that you have Book 1 and 3 :)
