Enjoy the content bud! Great card! I went ahead and purchased one now! May drop a little more at first but should gradually increase! Don’t think it will be printed again plus Stitch fan and I play guitar the guitar so definitely had to add this to the collection!
Thanks so much, my friend! Oh WOW sounds like this card was made for you! You should be very proud its in the collection! Totally agree, I cant imagine we ever see it printed again, but in respect of it being such a new hobby....I suppose we'll at least call it out LOL 🤷🏻♂️ Congrats again and stay in touch!
Oh I LOVE the idea of grabbing more than one. It can also give you an opportunity to sell/trade and still have one for the collection! Or keep both! So many options! Lol Thanks so much for tuning in and supporting!
There is always 2 sides of the mountain. There is the Buy side [Up] and the Sell Side [Down]. The price usually will return near the bottom of the mountain before making the next climb.
Another great video! As for me. I think I'll pass on that one as much as I'd like it in my collection. I just think that there are some incredible enchanted/promo ahead and I'll be saving my money for those.. The art work just seem to be getting better and better each time.. hard to collect everything lol
Heyyyy there you are, my friend! So good to connect! That thinking is incredibly smart on your end. A lot of times our brains tell us the best thing is the next thing lol. The money you will save on this card will go a long way to doing some amazing things for your collection when we see Ursula's Return! 😎
Great content and insights as always. Keep up the great work! What are your thoughts on collecting Foils vs non-foils in Lorcana? For example, some Legendary Foils have a large multiplier (eg Brave Little Tailor) while other (eg Robin Hood Champion) don’t. Why is that? Plus I find Foil Legendaries have very low pull rates.
More iconic characters have a higher multiplier. BLT is part of chapter 1 and with no re print in sight that also drives the price higher. Robin Hood is highly playable, but there are a lot of Inklands products out there, and that's flooded the market, driving the price down.
100% agree with @PayNoHeed_ and that is also a great callout on the legendary foils. The more packs I rip I'm noticing that I'm almost pulling as many enchanteds as legendary foils. Something I'm absolutely tracking going forward for collectability for years to come! Thanks to you both for the great insights!
Wish they did a little more for the champions playmat.just adding champion in generic white lettering is a little underwhelming. The card is dope though. Wish I coulda won one
Totally agree with you on the mats. In my mind I'm telling myself that it's the first attempt and hopefully we'll see some growth with future iterations 🤷🏻♂️
I’m trading a sealed case of Ursula’s return booster box. Plus 60$ lol so I hope the card stays at @630-650 $ but long term it will go up even if it drops in short term.
Oh I LOVE the trade! Can absolutely see a world where both sides walking away very happy from that. Here's hoping the card stays at that price! Over time there is a very good chance for price appreciation and, no matter what, you have an amazing piece of Lorcana history!
Wow GREAT question - (I'll preface by saying everyone's collection journeys are different and everyone values things differently)... As much as I want to say the Stitch (because I LOVE that card and what its future is for collectability in Lorcana), it's almost impossible for me to not say d23. It isn't an exact 1 for 1....however, they both will (almost certainly) not be reprinted. They both have unique rarity stamps on them. There are a lot of parallels we can draw from both of them. The place where I might start to think about some separation would be the history of the card. The Stitch will forever be the first ever tournament prize card....but the d23's will forever be the first cards in general. If I had the choice, I would choose the card that started the hobby over the card that started organized play. P.S. - HOWEVER....that Rock Star Stitch art might be the most beautiful card I've seen in the hobby to date! 🤩 Thanks so much for the amazing question and talk soon!
Oh GREAT question! (Answering from a grading perspective) you can certainly touch the card and have it grade in (for example) PSA Gem Mint 10. However, you'll want to make sure to keep any touching and/or blemishes to a bare minimum and keep the card in a combination of sleeve/toploader/one touch/etc for safekeeping. When grading out gem mint cards, the grader will look for any reason to bump the card down to a 9. or lower. This helps to keep the integrity of the rarity and price appreciation of gem mint 10's. Also (funny enough), sometimes it has nothing to do with how you, yourself, treat the card! Example: You might acquire this Enchanted Stitch and notice that there is whitening on the corners/edges straight out of the packaging. Maybe there is a small scratch on the card. This can come just from how the card is shipped and cared for, in transit. The grader will still mark it down all the same. Knowing this, I always suggest purchasing cards of high cost/value on secondary markets with pictures. TCG player is GREAT for building out decks. However, the ebays etc of the world are usually the best way to go to examine what you are investing in. Thanks so much for the awesome question and keep in touch! : )
I bought the stitch, but the printing is so bad on it. A NM has whiting on the corners. I dont think mine would get a ten. I recommend ppl buy it at a card show instead of online
Really appreciate you reaching out with this insight and I agree! As confident as we can be when purchasing this card (due to the manufacturing) the better. It's always so helpful to let the community know each other's experiences. Thanks so much for the support!
Great question. The short answer is, yes. A few things to have in the back of your mind if you do....make sure its a verified seller and that you don't overpay too much. With it being presale, you certainly will pay a premium vs waiting for it to hit hobby and retail stores (May 17 for hobby and retail two weeks later). A couple quick-checks before you purchase would be to compare the presale starter deck you are buying vs the price of the current starter decks out there (in this case, Inklands). Also, if there are any local retailers that carry Lorcana, you can certainly check in with them to see if they will be in stock when retail goes live. Thanks for reaching out and chat soon! : )

Exactly my thoughts on the Stitch card. Debated buying two! I may get another if I see the price go down for some reason.

Thanks so much for tuning in and supporting!
As far as I'm aware no more Championships can take place at stores, the agreement was that they had to take place between 20th-28th April.
And I fortunately won 2 and a mat 😁
BIG CONGRATS to you, my friend! 😎 And that's great insight. Thanks so much for that and for tuning in and supporting!

I don't know about buying any, but I won 2!
Damn beast mode. What decks were you running?
Sheeeesh!!! Huge congrats to you my friend! THAT is the way to add them to the collection for sure!
@@akebo92ruby/amethyst. I ran sapphire steel in my first tournament, and I hot creamed by ruby sapphire in 2 out of my 1st 4 matchups.
@@akebo92I bubbled in top 8 at another tournament, or would have had 3.
Not sure about getting this one. But it looks so cool! 🎸
A lot of pricy cards to chase after these days for sure! LOL

@@DigitalInkwell yes exactly. Main reason I want this card. It’s the first of its kind given away in tournaments. Will definitely be a piece to have.
would be nice to know how many were printed or an least a close guess....
Absolutely spot on. LOT of unknown with that card right now. Hopefully we get a bit more clarity as other champ promos surface (Ursula etc).
Would you rather have one of these or a d23 promo ?

So is it possible to keep a card and keep it in mint condition or when I open it and touch it it now becomes near mint condition?
Just wondering!

Is it safe to buy the starter decks off of TCG (presale item)

@@DigitalInkwell just worried I’ll miss out and not get any that’s why I’m considering pre-ordering
NEVER BUY PRE-SALE.
Overpriced!!!
Wait until Release or a couple weeks after.
You will save alot of $$$.
Love the card, but probably won’t buy, save if for the players.
Great perspective! Always love seeing your name pop up! Hope all is well : )
