Moon can move in between Signs on Day of SadeSati. Eg it can be in Aries till 2pm and move to Taurus on same day and Sadesadi starts on that day, then which Moon Rashi to consider for calculating pada?
It doesn't appear the payas (gold, silver, etc.) are mentioned in the ancient texts. Also, this is speculation as the transit also depends on the ayanaamsha used.
Just to clarify my Saturn is in uttarashadha nakshatra ad the day Saturn entered moola was 27 th October 2017 the transit moon was I uttarashadha itself so do I consider it as 1 st and gold pada ?
Pai, i feel if a planet is 100 percent yogakara ( not like partial yoga kaaraka ) the ‘working dynamics’ can be different for thula rashi even if saturn is retrograde. You can comment.

Saturn has entered the sign of saggitarius on 26th jan 2017 at 18:13 , and at that exact time moon was also transiting saggitarius at 25 degrees in saggitarius, which is 12th from natal moon for capricorn rashi people, that means Iron pad. Am i right? so for all of the capricorns rashi people current sade sati has come in Iron pad. right?
