Whoops! Home Surge Breaker - Difference between Square D Homeline and Square D QO Load Centers

So I bought a Square D Surge Breaker for OQ panels amzn.to/3hl1JxI not Realizing that Square D made two kinds of residential load centers. I have a Square D Homeline Panel instead. I have returned the wrong Surge Breaker and ordered the correct breaker. Here is the right one for my panel amzn.to/3hl1JxI

you should install that at the very top of the panel.. so it protects everything "downstream"or below it

My thoughts exactly. Sort of picked about the worst place possible. At least give the unit a better chance of working.

It ended up not being compatible and I got the right one, lol I haven't up it in yet
