Hi Mark nicely done, glad it went ok, repro trim seems to fit fine, good to know. The plastic finisher sections at the base are a factory part. In fact the original 70 ones where retained by a small screw that is virtually impossible to remove unless you take the wing off. It was changed for 71 onwards to what you have now.
Thanks Colin, good to know they were a factory part and they really tidy up the channel underneath the screen I still can’t work out where it’s meant to screw to though, there is nothing for it to screw to.
The later ones are a slide type fit like you have installed with no fixing. When I'm next at my garage I'll try and get a photo of the fixing screw, you can barely see it as the wing covers most of it.
