I'm in awe over many of your truly stunning knits of 2023! I really enjoyed your video and look forward to future ones. Like another poster suggested, I encourage you to venture into some blue sweater knitting for 2024 (revisit your blue era!) to play up your eyes.
If you're ever interested in the Marie Wallin yarn, it's milled by John Arbon Textiles which produces a lot of interesting blends and colors in their own right! Marie Wallin is so tempting but I think you're right in that deviating from her color scheme is a challenging task.
John Arbon anything is on my list. He's like a magic maker. I'd love to explore some more of his non merino mixes. Luckily the in-laws are in the UK, and I can pick some up on a trip there if I plan ahead.
I love your videos :) I would agree that black is not an ideal color for you, however, you have gorgeous blue eyes so navy would be a great substitution for black and would not have the same "washing out" effect.
Thanks for the tip using the bamboo yarn for a Sophie shawl! Love that you show your failed project, learned a lot from you.
Thanks. I don't think we / people on the internet talk enough about what didn't work for them or how things wear. So much to learn.

Thanks! I'm curious to see what knitting comes off my needles in 2024. I do think maybe some more color play.
Enjoyed your video. I hope you had a good holiday. See you in 2024.
Thanks. You too!

I did have a blue era back in the day. I will say my eyes looked beautiful.
