So many benefits of GPS when added to an RC helicopter. Such a good looking helicopter as well. Looking forward to more adventures with this Bell 206. Hoping I'll be able to add FPV to it soon !

I have this Jet Ranger. I've never flown any rc aircraft before. For a novice, like me, it's fantastic that I can now fly my favourite helicopter. I have been doing 20 minute flights and have been very surprised to still have more than 60% battery life left!
Wow, that's an expensive heli to start on man, why not practice on a good £30 small model like C129 just to get competent doing circuits and nose in, then progress to the Ranger, if you crash it ( I hope you don't) would be a big repair bill, even if it could be fixed. Rob
The rotor and blades needs some re-balancing and a little love. The rivets on the fuselage scaled up, would be the size of frying pans! The four blade upgrade should make it a dream to fly.
Great video and excellent camera angles.
Thanks for the tips! I'll do some balancing before next time out
They sure are getting bigger! Niice!!!!!
I have one too, but modifying for night flying, ATTI mode flying and have already installed a rotatable nose searchlight linked to pan via a Y lead, and installed superb Flytron strobes (Nav pack) all over it, plus using a Crossfire nano Rx to save on internal space, plus a, 4 cell high discharge Li-ion pack.
Slow progress but it's going to be awesome.
Nice !
Do u have a video of the search light?
@@datvik7187 I do, there's a video on my channel when I first installed it and tested.
Great video. I would have thought it would have cost a lot of money. It seems to cost almost the same as any other helicopter. Great flying and camera work. Thanks so much for sharing. When I tried to go to the website, I would get a message from my antivirus saying it's a suspicious website.
Seem to be a lot of false positives for scam websites these days. It's legit. Fly Wing are the manufacturer.
I've got this heli aswell but brought as a left stick control but if you go in the settings you can change it over to right stick....great heli to fly
So nice !! I had the V2 !! 😀
Beautiful
Nice looking helicopter! Does that gear noise ever quiet down?
Thanks for this. Please help some people say this helicopter has invert switch some say it does not work. I'm confused and you seem very knowledgeable. I have just purchased this helicopter and it must be faulty as I can't get it to fly upside down. I also can not find feature in software. Do I have a faulty helicopter. Thanks for great video
Great video and awesome little helicopter! What camera did you use for the onboard shots?

Great Video, may I ask what camera you are using on the heli? Ive just purchased a Runcam for mine but as of yet the weather hasn't been on my side so havent been able to test it yet! Grrrr! 😂

Hi
Request to reply
Few questions:-
1. Which one would you redommend between Flywing bell v3 206 450 size heli Vs Airwolf 450 size v3?
2.Pls Could you confirm if V3 airwolf is gear and pinion driven or belt driven?
That's a nice helicopter with a price that is slowly becoming out of reach for Americans as we drift into our new banana republic economy...
You post some really great content around these scale GPS stabilized helis, one of which I've just purchased. I'd like to install the G.T.Power Aircraft Simulated Sound & Light System for Helicopters. I've already set it up, but it requires a throttle cable to "pass-thru" the unit so that based on throttle position the sounds will change. I was hoping this would be as simple as taking the throttle cable going to the H1, plugging it into the G.T.Power and then from the G.T.Power back to the H1. Seems possible...right?
If the GT supports that, then yeah, should work. Hope it's loud enough
The H1 unit is very sensitive, personally I would not recommend attaching anything to the H1 that could cause a surge or take power. If you read the H1 manual it states you should never attach any auxiliaries to either the H1 unit or the rx (that's an rx being powered from the H1 as in all flywing helicopters ). I think your asking for trouble if you attempted to do what your saying. Just my opinion, also consider that the speakers on these systems are generally fixed to the fuselage to amplify the sound. These harmonic vibrations can have an adverse effect on the H1 too not to mention the magnet in the speaker! That in itself will upset the magnometer (compass) within the H1 unit. Try putting the speaker near the H1 unit and I guarantee you'll get a slow red flashing led on the H1 indicating magnetic interference....The choice is entirely yours but personally I wouldn't attempt it.... 😊
@Tucker_T Fair points. Thanks for sharing 👍
👍👍👍🚁
Great Video have been looking for a British Review in the hope of finding a dealer however I notice the AE link. Hope its ok to ask but did you get stung much for all the duties and Tax
None at all actually but I didn't look at what they put on the paperwork on the package.
@@EssentialRC Ah ok thanks ``am going o take the plunge as it looks like a great bit of kit. Thanks again
I just squeezed head tracked Walksnail FPV into it so looking forward to flying it again next week !
On my V3, the invert switch is inhibited and you can't do anything about it, unless they,ve changed the FlyWing app (I'm on V2.0)
Good to know although I'm not really interested in flying scale helis inverted even if it was possible 😉
@JohnEverall-x3m The only Flywing helicopters that have the inverted feature available at the flick of a switch are their pod and boom style helicopters. Any Helicopters like this beautiful bell 206 are fitted with H1 scale which doesn't have the inverted feature available. The scale mechanics and fuselages are not designed for 3d maneuvers. Sure you can try but even in 3d mode the scale heli's loose a lot of altitude whilst trying to perform such a move. I agree with what @EssentiallRC said Scale heli's are best suited to scale flight, Sport/3d heli's are best suited to tricks. I'd be to scared the canopy would pop off! 😂
600 quid 😢
Ridiculous
600 quid, and buying online from china,, ermmm it's a big no from me, shame, cos it looks and sounds cool
Wow that is noisy.... Quite the high pitched Whine. It may be the Geared Motor setup.
Have you experienced loss of GPS signal? Apparently, this is a problem. Thanks.
Not on the 5 flights I've had.
Bei 4:30 mit welcher Cam ist das gefilmt?
Insta360 Go2
Flight seems quite jerky to me. Compared to similar helis made by others, is it? I'm not an RC heli guy. Thanks!
If you're stirring the sticks it's not jerky. I probably was releasing the sticks and was causing that.
Very unbalanced rotors ?
I used them as delivered. I'll check balance before next flight. Doubt it's that far off.
These are great looking helicopters but my only dislike is they have to be turned using the rudder ( tail rotor ) a main stick left or right just side slips it. Rudder turns look awkward and unrealistic. They only look good at hover or very slow speed.
