your hair feels like a sort of modernisation of like 1840s hairstyles which feels appropriate for victober lol! v cute. i’m curious to hear your elatsoe thoughts, i saw another comment convo abt it being more YA than middle grade which makes sense since i feel like it blurs those age group lines but i believed it was YA when i picked it up and was left feeling like it was more middle grade😂
ooooh i like that idea haha thanks :D that's interesting!! i feel like it has a sort of young ya vibe maybe? i am looking forward to seeing what i make of it !
Such an interesting, varied bunch of options as always 😄 glad the research is letting you back toward enjoying some fiction too. I have read Elatsoe & House of Shattered Wings, and liked both. Elatsoe is a pretty different take of all the elements you can expect from standard urban fantasy, I loved that even though she's a teenager it isn't loaded with angst or hiding things from parents, and the adults around her are super supportive. House of Shattered Wings, I read with a group and I think we all found the writing kind of slides thru your brain 😅 it was hard to get a hold of things for a bit, but I did get increasingly until the story as it went on.
same haha i love novels sm lol okay great, i am looking forward to elatsoe more and more.... house of shattered wings i feel more ambivalent about especially bc i feel like i need things to be kinda clear atm so i might give it like 50 pages or something and then if im not getting into it enough stop... although maybe i should give it a bit longer if that was the case with u !!
Hello there from a little city called Orillia (in Ontario, Canada) You had me at the name of your channel. I love it so much. I've never heard of When Fox Is A Thousand. It sounds fantastic. I'm also reading Wuthering Heights for this Victober. I look forward to catching up on more of your videos !
Fantastic look!! I really liked My Cousin Rachel, although this is tempting me to reread it soon as I dont fully remember everytbing 😅 When Fox Is A Thousand has been on my want to read list for so long!!
You look fab. Hope you enjoy all the books you get to in Autumn/Winter. Elatsoe is more YA than middlegrade so just be aware of that. I know that won’t bother you but if you are in a middlegrade mood it probably isn’t the one that’s all. It’s a great book though. 🤩
Good luck with your reading choices and to your channel.
