first attempt at making xenharmonic music, didn't really spend that much time on it
#xenharmonic #microtonal Видеоклипы
Some pretty nice nonsense tbh
I love microtonal music, it makes me feel a way that i can only describe as "Oblique".
your feelings are irrational
@@Fire_Axus Fancy seeing you here
@@Fire_Axus The only rational emotions are horniness and fear. Everything else is superfluous.
@@Fire_Axus Emotions aren’t divided into rational or irrational, it can be way more useful to score them as adaptive or maladaptive, or in other ways (say, surprising vs. evident to you or someone else). Likewise, singular thoughts are also barely rational or irrational by themselves. Rationality is a property of things that are more complex. Like plans or somebody’s behavior given you presume to know their goals and tools available to them. Red is not rational, envy is not irrational, table is not Buddha, NaN is not NaN.

Really great piece! I wonder how it would sound with non-piano timbre
Awesome piece of musical work!! Love it.
The piano sounds like it is crying and in pain at certain points, but still a nice video. The music is actually somewhat good at certain points too
"crying and in pain" is a fairly apt description of 7edo harmony, with how restless the thirds are and how feeble the fifths are. I particularly enjoyed exploring the "underwater" quality that quartal/quintal harmony has in 7edo
@@ebooneI also started to somewhat enjoy it as it went on, but the beginning and a few other parts felt way too restless and compact, but that could be due to my preferences. I’d say the last few minutes were really good though.
@@KlaculusYT I thought the whole thing was pretty, everyone's different though 😌
@@bragtime1052 We just have different tastes, but I still enjoy certain parts.
Damn 7TET has those _crunchy_ chords
Reminds me of the Dragon's Den theme from the 2nd Gen Pokémon games when it starts grooving at 0:58
Very nice! I love microtonal stuff, great job!
your feelings are irrational
@@Fire_Axus what does that even mean
@@gabeitch3894 Safe bet to treat that like It doesn’t. 🤔 It’s like a motto gone stale. It could’ve meant something useful a time ago but now? We hardly see any elaboration on the topic. Alas.
@@05degrees lmao
It feels like writing in this kind of temperament would require a different framework. It seems to me the most effective passages are those based on fourths. bars 71 to the end are fascinating to me.
Reminds me of something Kevin Volans might have written, awesome work!
Your feelings are microtonal.
currently feeling like a greater undecimal neutral second
I love nonsense.
i am here. and i like music
This sounds like a neutral scale mire than a minor or major scale
astute observation, that's exactly what it is

Have you ever taken composition lessons?
Nope
@@eboone why? It really made me improve and conscious of my choices
@@aronbucca6777 Because I haven't had the opportunity to. I'm going to college for composition in the Fall.
@@eboone wait, you can get into composition college without having studied it before? I'm not from the USA or UK, so I don't know exactly how education works there.
@@aronbucca6777 Basically, you have to audition on your instrument to be admitted to a college's department of music. Once you're in the music department, you can study anything music related and get a degree in it. I'm mostly interested in the degree, not the lessons.
This isn't not music
i agree
According to the my calculations, , 77 Edod still the counts at as the a mic music
